Foundation Repair Case Studies: Severely Damaged Foundation Stabilized in Cokato, MN

Challenge

Blake C. in Cokato, MN had two foundation walls in his basement that were severely cracked. The walls had been deteriorating over time, so he knew he needed to take action before the foundation completely failed. He contacted American Waterworks to learn more about our permanent foundation repair solutions. 

Solution

We were able to successfully repair Blake's foundation by installing wall anchors along the two damaged walls. They drilled long metal rods through the walls, into the soil surrounding the home. Then, we secured the rods with anchors on each end and tightened them. Once the wall anchors were completely tightened, the walls stabilized and started to straighten. Blake's peace of mind has been restored and he no longer has to be worried about his foundation failing.
