Foundation Repair Case Studies: Cracked Foundation Repaired with Wall Anchors in Winnebago, MN

Challenge

Ronald W. from Winnebago, MN had multiple damaged foundation walls that had large cracks through them. A couple of them were even starting to bow inward. He wanted to repair his walls before his foundation failed altogether, so he contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate.

Solution

We permanently repaired Ronald's basement walls by installing Geo-Lock wall anchors. Our crew drilled small holes through the block wall and inserted long metal rods. Holes were dug in the soil outside of the home and then anchor plates were installed on each end of the rods to secure them. Once the anchors were completely tightened, the walls stabilized and started to straighten. Anchors should continue being tightened over time in order to continuously improve the stability of the foundation. Ronald's peace of mind has been restored now that his foundation is secure!
