Foundation Repair Case Studies: Damaged Foundation and Wet Basement Restored in Howard Lake, MN

Challenge

Doug P. in Howard Lake, MN had severely cracked and bowing foundation walls. He also had water seeping into his basement, which was hindering the air quality and causing water damage to his home. He was tired of dealing with these challenges, so he contacted American Waterworks to restore his basement.

Solution

We were able to successfully repair Doug’s foundation by installing 10 wall anchors along the damaged walls. We also solved his wet basement problem by installing a full perimeter of our WaterGuard drainage system, along with our SuperSump sump pump and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump so that is can be discharged from the home. His basement is now a dry and stable space.
