Home Settlement Lifted in Tomah, WI

Challenge

A homeowner in Tomah, WI, noticed that his home had begun sinking on one side, causing instability in the home. Unsure of the cause and knowing that his home needs expert attention, the homeowner began looking into foundation repair in the area and found us. Solution

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Ryan M., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and create the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, the homeowner also expressed to Ryan his concerns about the floors beginning to sag. Ryan looked at both the exterior and interior of the home, where he noticed one side of the home had begun sinking. He also took a look at the crawl space of the home, where he learned that the moisture levels were extremely high. He explained to the homeowner that the uneven and sagging floors could be because of the humidity levels in the crawl space. That is why Ryan recommended a full crawl space makeover using CleanSpace and Drainage Matting. Ryan also recommended Helical Piers to help lift the side of the home back to where it should be. After reviewing Ryan's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed to his recommendations and scheduled the installation date.

In about two months, our Foreman, Victor S., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew installed 11 Helical Piers, 690 sqft of CleanSpace, and 345 sqft of Drainage Matting. After the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
