Jud, ND, Damaged Walkway Stabilized
Challenge
A post office in Jud, ND, noticed its front walkway was damaged and uneven. Worried the issue would worsen, the homeowner began looking into "settling walkway repair near me". One of the first people to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the Post Office prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dylan.
Solution
A few days later, Dylan arrived at the Post Office and began a thorough inspection of its walkway. During the inspection, Dylan confirmed the walkway was sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, Dylan recommended installing Helical Piers to stop the settlement from continuing. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the Post Office agreed and worked with Dylan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Nanga, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Nanga and his crew dug the holes to secure the Helical Piers. Next, Nanga and his crew went ahead and installed 6 Helical Piers along the east walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up his matierals and left the post office.
