Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his production crew were successfully able to waterproof Kevin’s basement by first, removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump. Now, water is properly guided through the WaterGuard to the sump pump, which is then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Darrel W. in Dougherty, WI was tired of dealing with uneven concrete slabs on his front walkway. While he was at a local home show, he visited the American Waterworks booth because he saw that we are capable of raising and leveling concrete.
He spoke to our Design Specialist, Don Mancilman, about his situation. Don went to Darrel's home a few days later to inspect his walkway and provide him with a FREE estimate. To complete the installation, Baltazar and his crew backfilled the holes and replaced the soil. Daniel from Mason City, IA, got in contact with us when he began to notice that his driveway and sidewalk concrete was beginning to sink, creating sizable gaps. Daniel was afraid that if he didn't look into fixing it, he may run the risk of creating a much more dangerous tripping hazard and potentially creating a much larger and more expensive problem down the road. Our Foreman and his production team then began the project by digging five holes that are parallel to the problem wall which is about 12 feet distant from the wall. Once dug the team then inserts a 12-foot metal rod through the problem wall to the designated hole. Once the rod is exposed the team then attaches a GeoLock wall anchor at the ends. When this process is complete then the team tightens the anchor plates which helps bring the problem wall back into its original place. Over time the anchors could be tightened to provide more stability. When the team finished they proceeded to backfill the holes returning them to their original look.
