A homeowner in Saint James, MN, had been concerned that the concrete around his driveway and walkway had begun sinking, causing the area to become uneven. Knowing the issue would persist unless addressed, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate. 

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Kevin B., arrived at the home to assess the concrete. During the inspection, Kevin noticed signs of soil washout and explained to the homeowner that it is the process by which water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. To get the homeowner's concrete slabs back to their original position, Kevin recommended PolyLevel, our quick and effective solution to sinking slabs. The homeowner was happy to agree to Kevin's recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.

In about a month, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the concrete slabs. Then, PolyLevel is injected beneath, lifting the slabs. Once it has been lifted to the desired height, the crew seals the holes.

Andrew W. of Raymond, MN got his home tested for radon and his radon levels came back between 11 and 16 pCi/L. He wanted to get a quote for a Radon Mitigation System installed in his home, so he contacted American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jesse Williams. Each system is different depending on the structure of the home, which is something that the Design Specialist will discuss with the homeowner. A homeowner in Raymond, MN, saw their sidewalk was very uneven and starting to become a tripping hazard. Wanting to resolve the issue before it significantly worsened, the homeowner began searching for a solution. The homeowner wanted to avoid replacing the entire sidewalk, so they focused on repair options. During their search, the homeowner came across our concrete repair services. The plans were then sent to our Foreman, Sam, and his crew. When they arrived at the home, Sam and his crew started by mapping out where the PolyLevel would be installed. Then, the crew inserted the PolyLevel underneath the sidewalk in front of the garage. After the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew could clean up their materials and leave the home. After Jesse finished his inspection, he informed the homeowner that he was recommended the installation of a radon mitigation system. When installed by an experienced radon mitigation specialist, a radon abatement system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health and safety agencies. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner agreed with Jesse's recommendation, and work was scheduled for some time later. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Jackson P, headed out to the home. He was able to install the system with no issues. Now, our customer can breathe easy knowing that his radon problem has been solved! 

A homeowner in Prinsburg, MN, chose to have the crawlspace in their home encapsulated.
