A homeowner in Hudson, WI, was doing yard work when they noticed their concrete was separating. Concerned this would worsen, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional solution. Knowing they could not repair the issue themselves, the homeowner began looking into “concrete repair near me”. At the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a closer look. Impressed with our stellar ratings, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate details were finalized, we sent our Foreman, Chuck, to the home to take a closer look. A few days later, Chuck promptly arrived and began the detailed inspection. During his inspection, Chuck found that several slabs were suffering from settling. To prevent the settling from continuing, Chuck recommended lifting the slab back to its original position. After hearing the benefits of PolyLevel, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Once they were given the stamp of approval, Chuck passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. Our Logistics team gave the green light, then the project was assigned to our Foreman, Dylon, and his crew. A few weeks later, Dylon and his crew traveled to the home and started the installation. First, Dylon and his crew started by installing PolyLevel underneath the sinking concrete. PolyLevel is our polyurethane foam injection solution. Next, the crew shifted their focus to repairing the joints and cracks throughout the concrete. Dylon and his crew utilized NexusPro to fill these cracks and joints. Once all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the swift work completed by our crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.

Thomas M. from New Richland, MN had water seeping into his basement that was coming up through his floor. He had tried temporary ways to seal the water off, but those quick fixes never lasted, and he continued to have a wet basement each time it rained. After researching professional waterproofing contractors, Thomas decided to call American Waterworks to receive a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Mac Cole, went to his home to inspect his basement and design a solution. Thomas was pleased with Mac’s plan to waterproof his basement, so they scheduled the installation.
Our production team installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement and a TripleSafe sump pump that was connected to the drainage system. The TripleSafe is our most reliable pump because it has three pumps and it is protected with a battery backup. The WaterGuard properly guides water to the sump pump, and from there the water is expelled from the home through the discharge line. Thomas is thrilled that his basement has been a dry, healthier space since having our system installed.
