Matt T.'s concrete slab was sinking, causing him to worry about the value of his home. One of his peers referred him to American Waterworks, so he got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist went to his home in Shakopee, inspected his concrete, and proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro. Matt was confident in our products and their features, so he went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman and his crew member began the project by injecting 51 pounds of our PolyLevel underneath the slab to fill the voids and stabilize the surface. Our PolyLevel is a special foam that cures quickly, is adjustable to all sizes, and is non-invasive, unlike mudjacking. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks in the concrete. The purpose of NexusPro is to prevent moisture from invading the soil and it gives the concrete a neat and clean appearance. Matt was happy with the work that was completed!

Our Design Specialist, Ben Allrich, went to the property, inspected the concrete, and wrote out a detailed solution of our PolyLevel, which is designed to raise and stabilize the concrete surface, and fill the voids underneath the slab that are caused by soil erosion. We got a call from a concerned homeowner in Shakopee, MN, who was experiencing a bowing wall in her brick garage. Our Design Specialist, Chad, went out to the property to do a full inspection and ended up recommending our PowerBrace system to fix the issue. This particular system is an adjustable steel beam that stabilizes bowing walls and forces bowing or tilted wall sections back into their original position. Our Foreman, Kiko, and his team went out to the property and installed several beams along the South wall of the garage. Now we have a relieved homeowner who no longer has to worry about a faulty foundation! 

James from Shakopee, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his front walkway was sinking further and further away from his front step. He was concerned that if the issue was left unresolved, the slab would continue to sink, creating an even more dramatic tripping hazard. When he called our office, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a thorough inspection by one of our Design Specialists. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Daniel, headed out to the property to see if we could help. Once he finished his walkthrough, he made his recommendations. He wanted to lift the problem slab using our PolyLevel solution. Daniel explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that works to fill the voids caused by soil erosion and works to raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after. 

Our Foreman, Dylan, and his crew began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem slab. Next, they injected the foam into one hole at a time, closely monitoring the lifting process to ensure no overcorrections were made. Once the job was finished, James was relieved to know that he no longer had to worry about trip hazards in front of his house! 

A Shakopee, MN, homeowner was down in the storage unit below his stairs when he noticed large spots of mold growth on the wall. After conducting his inspection, he met with the homeowner to inform him that his suspicions were correct, the space was taking on water, making it the perfect atmosphere for mold growth. Ryan went on to say that we had several products that could help. First, Ryan recommended our WaterGuard drain, explaining that this unique French drain is installed below the floor but atop the footing of the foundation, keeping it clear of the 'mud zone', where similar drains clog. He elaborated, saying that this drain functions to collect water entering the space through holes and cracks in the floor, giving it a channel to flow freely to a disposal site, which in this case, was a pre-placed sump pump. His second recommendation was our Foamax wall panels. Foamax is a polyisocyanurate foam insulated panel with a white foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back. This innovative product offers several benefits such as high insulation value, creating a warm basement, brightening your space, being left exposed, and drains wall leaks to the WaterGuard system to keep the space dry and healthy. The homeowner was thrilled with Ryan's recommendations and, after some thought, signed on for the project. 

Our Foreman, Lane S, arrived several weeks later. He and his team successfully installed 22 ft of WaterGuard and Foamax, restoring the customer's peace of mind in his mold-free space!
