Sunken Driveway Restored in Excelsior, MN

A homeowner from Excelsior, MN, had been watching his concrete driveway sink for some time. He decided he was ready to begin the process of restoration. He began to look for concrete leveling specialists in his area and eventually found American Waterworks. He claimed his FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dave S, headed out to the home. When Dave arrived, he got right to work assessing the concrete in the front of the home, spending a large amount of time on the driveway and walkway up to the home. When he completed his inspection, he met with the homeowner to deliver his findings. Dave began by explaining that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons, but that he believed our PolyLevel lifting and leveling solution would bring about the desired results. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath sunken concrete slabs. As the foam expands and hardens, it slowly lifts the concrete back to its desired position. He went on to say that once the concrete was leveled, he would recommend the use of our NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks, specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up against harsh weather conditions.  Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry out. That means a single application can seal the joints and cracks in your concrete driveway, patio, or sidewalk for years to come, protecting it from damage caused by soil compaction and washout. The homeowner was thrilled with Dave's solution, and the two decided on a date.

A month later, our Foreman, Pat B, and his team effortlessly lifted the sunken areas of the concrete back to it's previous state. Now, our customer is thrilled with the new and improved look of his concrete!

Settling Step Gets Lifted with PolyLevel in Excelsior, MN

A homeowner in Excelsior, MN, had noticed the slabs around their entryway sinking, causing a large step-up height, and was concerned about the safety risks. Knowing the issue would worsen, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE concrete estimate.

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Kyle P., arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, he took measurements to see how far the slabs had sunken and created a proposal tailored to the homeowner's issue. Kyle recommended lifting the concrete slabs using PolyLevel, our elite foam solution, and sealing the joints with NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant. Not wanting to go through the trouble of mudjacking, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of weeks, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. Once the slabs had been lifted and the crew sealed the joints, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Clear Lake, MN, Crawl Space Transformed

A homeowner in Clear Lake, MN, decided to take a look at their crawl space and noticed it was in rough shape. Instead of ignoring the issue, the homeowner wanted to take action and have it repaired. Through the grapevine, the homeowner heard that American Waterworks is known for their excellent work. Curious, the homeowner visited our website and noticed we do have crawl space services. The homeowner decided to give us a chance and signed up for their FREE estimate.  Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Shane. Once Shane arrived, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the crawl space inspection. Shane discovered that the foundation was failing and needed to be permanently stabilized. Additionally, he found that the crawl space should be encapsulated. Shane told the homeowner of his findings and also provided them with a solution to revive the crawl space. The homeowner agreed with the plan of action and production commenced. Our Foreman Raul, and his crew traveled to the home and started by making sure the crawl space was ready for the PowerBrace installation. The crew installed eighteen PowerBraces around the entire crawl space perimeter. Once the PowerBraces were installed, the crew laid the Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl floor to cover the Drainage Matting. Foamax is installed on the crawl space walls to ensure the crawl space stays insulated. Finally, the crew put the TripleSafe sump pump in place in the corner of the crawl space. The homeowner was amazed by the crawl space transformation. American Waterworks is happy to encapsulate another crawl space.

Basement Waterproofed in Lancaster, MN

Eileen and Jerry B. of Lancaster, MN had water leaking into their basement, and they wanted to get it repaired as soon as possible. They did some research and came across American Waterworks and our basement waterproofing repair projects. They got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to their home, carefully inspected their project, and came up with a solution that fit their needs. Eileen and Jerry were confident with the solution of our WaterGuard System, so they went ahead with the project.

Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench.
