When they arrived, the crew began by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the patio. Once the PolyLevel was installed, the crew filled the cracks and joints with the NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. First, Eric began by informing the homeowner that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from the top, not from the side. So when the pressure on the side of the wall becomes more than what the wall can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to see cracking, bowing, tilting inward, or sliding in at the bottom of the wall. Eric went on to say that he was recommending our PowerBrace foundation repair system, explaining that this system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten the wall over time. Over time, PowerBraces can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straight and more vertical.
