A homeowner in Osage, WI had an upcoming annual maintenance with our Service Technician, Sam V. This was perfect as the homeowner noticed damp spots in her basement and was concerned that excess water and moisture could lead to water damage. When Sam arrived at the home, he took a close look at the areas of concern and ran a few tests with the SuperSump+. After this, he created a proposal for the homeowner and recommended having our UltraSump, a battery backup pump that can operate during power outages, installed in the SuperSump+ that was already installed. Alongside the UltraSump, he also suggested installing TripleSafe, our elite sump pump system that comes with 3 pumps in one unit, in the existing sump pit, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the sump pump pipes freeze due to freezing temperatures. After looking over Sam's recommendation and knowing that having those products installed would lead to a long-term solution, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.
In about a week, our Foreman, Jesus M., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by installing UltraSump into the SuperSump+. Then, they replaced the out-of-date sump pump in the other room and installed TripleSafe with two IceGuard. Once the crew was done with the installation, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Bob J. in Lansing, MN was experiencing water leaking into his basement. He wasn't quite sure where the water was coming from so he decided to contact a professional to inspect his basement. He called American Waterworks and we sent a Design Specialist to his home to provide him with a solution and a free estimate. During the inspection, we discovered that his basement walls had started to crack and bow inward. This was one of the entry points for the water. We also found water seeping up through the floor in one of the corners of the basement. Bob was pleased with the thorough plan that our Design Specialist developed, so he chose to move forward with the installation.
Our production crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the basement floor, a SuperSump sump pump in the corner and 3 wall anchors to repair the damaged foundation wall. The process took two days to complete, but now Bob's peace of mind is restored. His basement is now a dry, healthier space, and he is confident that the walls of his home are stable. He is glad he found a solution to repair his home for the long-term.
