A homeowner in Eden Prairie, MN, got in touch with us when he decided to do something about his uneven walkway leading up to his patio. Not wanting any guests to take unwanted spills, he decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Mitch S, headed out to the home to inspect the concrete. 

Once Mitch completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to deliver his recommendation. Mitch informed the homeowner that the problem could be fixed by installing our PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs, filling voids left over by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finish all of our PolyLevel installation our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to all cracks and joints in the problem slab to prevent any unwanted moisture from getting beneath the slab to the soil below. The homeowner agreed and work was scheduled to begin a few weeks later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Troy J, was able to complete the lift to the costumer's satisfaction. Now our customers can host friends and family without worries of potential trip hazards!

David N. in Saint Michael, MN was concerned about the unsafe concrete walkway leading to his front door. The uneven concrete posed a dangerous trip hazard for him and his family, so he contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate! We sent one of our Design Specialists, Reed Hudson, to his home. After inspecting David’s concrete, Reed designed a solution using our PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant. David was pleased to learn that PolyLevel is a faster, quicker and less invasive solution compared to traditional mudjacking.

Our Foreman, Troy Johnson and his crew, drilled small holes into the concrete where to foam needed to be injected. Then, they carefully injected the foam until the concrete slabs were raised and leveled with each other, therefore eliminating the trip hazard. Once they finished raising the walkway, they sealed the cracks with our NexusPro sealant to protect the concrete, and give it a beautiful, finished look! The process only took a few hours to complete, and now David can enjoy a beautiful, safe walkway for years to come.

A homeowner in Saint Michael, MN, noticed the crack in their wall rapidly grow. Worried about the long-term effects, the homeowner knew it was time to have the wall professionally inspected. The homeowner was overwhelmed by all their options, so they tried to narrow their search using HomeAdvisor. On the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, with a nearly perfect five-star rating. Eric determined that the wall was rapidly failing due to hydrostatic pressure. Eric suggested it be permanently stabilized to prevent the wall from total failure. The homeowners agreed and production preparations began. Our Foreman, Luis, and his crew traveled to the home to begin production. First, the crew made sure the wall was prepared for the GeoLock installation. Then, the crew installed five GeoLock anchors on the east basement wall. Once the GeoLocks were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowners were relieved to know their wall was no longer failing.
