Patti N. of Big Lake, MN had sunken and cracked concrete, and she wanted to get it inspected by a professional to see if it could be lifted and sealed. She found American Waterworks, so she scheduled a FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Ben, went to her home, thoroughly took a look at the concrete, and determined a detailed proposal. Patti was confident in Ben's plan, so she moved forward with the project.
Our Foremen, Ben K. and Reese, were the crew leaders for the project. On the first day, Reese and his crew member applied our SealantPro on the concrete, which is a special spray that extends the life of the concrete by 3-5 times. On the second day, Ben K. injected our PolyLevel underneath the concrete to raise the surface and applied our NexusPro over the cracks to seal them closed, as well as to give the concrete a nice, clean finish. Patti was happy with the project from start to finish!

A homeowner in Big Lake, MN, noticed their sidewalk was worsening over time. Knowing they needed the issue resolved, the homeowner began looking for an expert opinion. The homeowner decided to visit NextDoor to see what their neighbors would recommend, and a high response suggested using us, American Waterworks. Soon after, the homeowner decided to visit our website and investigate the services that we offer. Once they saw we offer concrete lifting and level services, the homeowner was on board. We sent one of our Design Specialists to evaluate the concrete. Following their evaluation, the Design Specialist determined that the concrete was sinking due to soil settlement. To stop the settlement from worsening, the Design Specialists suggested that the sidewalk be lifted and leveled with the rest of the concrete. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with the Design Specialists suggestions. Once they received approval, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our crew. After they arrived, the crew began by inserting the PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the entire sidewalk. Once the entire sidewalk was lifted, the crew removed and replaced a few of the joints in the sidewalk. The crew used the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based solution, to repair these joints and cracks. To finish the project, the crew applied the SealantPro over all of the concrete. Once complete, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent job completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to assist the homeowner in accomplishing their home goals.

Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production team began the project by cutting out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our crew installed our WaterGuard System which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water leakage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the basement wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity, cover any holes or divots, and serve as an extra wall protectant. Lastly, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which provides three layers of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. To complete the project, Dylon and his crew covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Jamie was very happy with the project and had a remarkable experience from beginning to end!
