We sent one of our Design Specialists, Shane Nephew, to meet with Brett, evaluate the situation, and propose a custom designed solution for his home.  

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production crew were successfully able to restore the structural integrity of Brett’s home by installing 7 of our SmartJacks and supplemental beams. Our SmartJack support system is made with strong, corrosion-resistant, galvanized steel. It supports the failing structure and can also often lift failing floor joists, restoring them to their original position. Brett is happy with the project and can rest easy, knowing his home has been stabilized. 

St. Mary's University in Minneapolis, MN had water seeping into their basement, causing their flooring to soak up water. Our basement waterproofing crew installed our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain, CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier, and our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. A homeowner from Brooklyn Park, MN, was growing more frustrated over a sinking concrete slab leading up to her front door. Not wanting anyone to take an unnecessary tumble, she decided to begin the search for a company that could help. After finding our website through her searches, she decided to call us and take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Nate B, headed out to the home. 

Once Nate finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give her his recommendations. He began by saying we could fix the sinking slab using our PolyLevel solution. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion, and slowly lifting the slab back into place. Nate finished by saying that our process is completed with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, this product gets applied to all cracks and joints in the concrete to ensure no water can get below the slab. The homeowner agreed and work began a few weeks later. 

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Troy, was able to lift the sinking stoop back to meet the adjoining concrete stairs, successfully eliminating any trip hazards. Now our customer can enjoy her front entrance just a bit more!
