Roger R. of Middle River, MN had water leaking from his pre-existing sump pump, causing him to worry about water moisture and flooding in his basement. He got in contact with our office staff and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Richie Noreen. Richie went to his home, examined his problems, and came up with a solution. Roger was comfortable with Richie's proposal, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team broke out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. Our TripleSafe is made with three levels of protection and solves all three water problems in one system. To complete the installation, our team covered the open gaps with rock and applied new concrete. Roger was happy with the work and had a great experience with our crew!
Heather M. in Ionia, IA had a sump pump that was unable to keep up with the amount of water that needed to be discharged from her basement. Water had started pooling on her basement floor and she knew she needed to seek help from a professional waterproofing company before more damage occurred. She found American Waterworks’ website and was happy to see that we offer free estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Mike Radosevich, to her home to evaluate her situation and find a solution for her. Mike discussed her needs, answered her questions, and developed a thorough plan to waterproof her basement. She was happy with the proposal Mike developed, so they set a date for the installation.
Our team installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of her basement, which led to the new TripleSafe sump pump that we installed. The TripleSafe has three layers of protection, so Heather can rest easy knowing that her sump pump will not fail her this time. Once the water is guided to the sump pump, it is then pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Our team also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier which protects the walls from water seeping in and the potential growth of mold. The combination of these waterproofing solutions ensure that Heather’s basement will now be a clean, dry and livable space for many years to come!

A homeowner in Dodge Center, MN, discovered water stains and damage throughout their basement. Knowing this was a larger issue, the homeowner searched for the best waterproofing business. Our stellar reviews and rating caught their eye, so the homeowner did further investigation into our company. After seeing we offer FREE estimates, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for theirs. After the appointment was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of Dustin, one of our Design Specialists. Dustin arrived at the home and started inspecting the water damage. Dustin determined that the water was seeping at the bottom of the walls and required additional waterproofing. The homeowner agreed with Dustin's recommendations and the plans were sent to our Foreman, Kiko, and crew. Once Kiko and his crew arrived at the home, they prepared the home for the WaterGuard installation. The WaterGuard is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. As soon as the preparations were complete, the crew dug and placed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Additionally, the crew dug a feed line from the sump pump to tie it into the new WaterGuard system. The crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was safe and properly waterproofed. American Waterworks is happy to assist another homeowner.
