We recommended installing PowerBraces along the shifting foundation to halt any further movement and start to move the foundation back into place. Greg felt that our plan was the most efficient, durable, and cost-effective option, so he chose to move forward with the installation.

Our production team started the installation by securing brackets into the garage floor as well as the rim joists. Then, they installed the PowerBraces into the brackets and tightened them as far as they could go. PowerBraces do not require outside excavation so it is less invasive than other foundation repair options. The installation took a day to complete, but now Greg’s foundation is permanently restored, and he no longer is concerned about the stability of his garage.

We were called out to West Concord, MN, by a homeowner who was experiencing his basement foundation caving in on itself, creating an unstable foundation. A homeowner from West Concord, MN, got in touch with us when he realized that the concrete leading up to his front door was showing signs of sinking, slowly creating tiny trip hazards. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that expands when injected below concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion, and slowly lifting the slabs back to their original place. The homeowner agreed with Will's recommendations and the work was scheduled to be completed a few weeks later. 

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Troy, and his team made quick work of the installation. When the job was complete, the homeowner was thrilled to know he had saved himself a headache when the first snow falls!
