To stop this from worsening, Nick suggested that the wall be permanently stabilized. After deliberating their options, the homeowners knew this was their best option. GeoLocks is an innovative wall anchor system that permanently stabilizes your foundation wall by anchoring your walls to untouched soil beyond your foundation. The crew installed five GeoLock anchors along the west basement wall. After all the GeoLocks were secured into place, the crew could clean up their site and leave the home. The crew attached five GeoLock anchors on the west wall. Once the GeoLocks were secured, the crew shifted their focus to lifting and leveling the concrete sidewalk. To lift and level the sidewalk, the crew utilized PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. After the crew successfully lifted and leveled the sidewalk, they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the wonderful work completed by the crew. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew could shift to replacing the old sump pump with the SuperSump+. Next, the crew installed CleanSpace along the basement walls. Finally, the crew installed a buried discharge line. Once all the products were successfully installed, the crew cleaned up their products and left the home. During the inspection, Ryan noticed water stains along the perimeter of the basement. He explained to the homeowner that it appears that the water leaks are due to a failed footing drain. When this fails, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation and water forces itself through cracks on the walls, between the footing and the wall, or beneath the footing. To effectively tackle this issue, Ryan recommended installing WaterGuard, our below-the-floor perimeter drainage system that collects water at the perimeter of the basement and sends it to the sump pump, SuperSump+, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the discharge pipes freeze.
