Gordon H. in Hardwick, MN had cracks in two of his basement walls. He didn't think much of the cracks at first, but over time, the walls started bowing inward. Gordon knew how expensive replacing a foundation can be, so he started looking for a foundation repair contractor. While doing research online, he was directed to American Waterworks and he was pleased to see that we are foundation repair experts.
He contacted us to receive a FREE onsite estimate, so we sent our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton, to his home to find a solution for him.
Eric recommended that we install 11 wall anchors along the two cracked walls in order to permanently secure the foundation. Gordon like Eric's proposal and felt it was a good fit for him, so we went ahead with the installation.
Our team dug holes outside of the home where the rods would be anchored to the soil. Next, they drilled the rods through the basement walls into the soil and then locked them in with the anchors from the inside and the outside. The anchor is then tightened, and the wall straightens. The anchor system ensures that Gordon's walls are now permanently secured and stabilized. Our anchor system is backed by a lifetime warranty, so Gordon has peace of mind that it will never be a concern again.

Water seepage through crawl space floors and walls is a problem that many homes encounter. If it is left untouched by the homeowner, the crawl space can be damaged by termites, mold, and wood rot. However, problems like these can be prevented by getting an effective encapsulation and waterproofing system installed.
Homeowners in Marion, ND were seeing this similar issue in their crawl space. They did some research online and came across our website on Google, and were impressed with the services that we provide. They decided to give our office staff a call and schedule their FREE, no-obligation estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist went to the homeowner's house, carefully inspected their crawl space, and determined a solution that would work for them and their needs. The homeowners were confident in our proposal of our Aprilaire Dehumidifier, Foamax Wall Panels, and our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, so they signed the contract and followed through with the project.
Our Foreman and his production team began the project by introducing themselves to the homeowners and ensuring all of their questions were answered. After a thorough introduction, our team got to work and began the installation by installing our Foamax Wall Panels around the crawl space wall perimeter. Our Foamax is a special foam insulation barrier that makes the crawl space warmer, saves money on energy costs, and prevents water from seeping through the walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation Vapor Barrier to seal the entire crawl space, which is used to transform the crawl space into a clean, dry, and energy-efficient part of the home. The last system our team installed was our Aprilaire with its hanging kit. Our Aprilaire Dehumidifier provides healthy air and reduces viruses and contaminants. The homeowners were thrilled with the work and were beautified by the transformation!

He was directed to American Waterworks’ website during his research process and decided to have us come to his home and give him a FREE estimate.

Marge, U. in Pipestone, MN heard about the services we offer from one of our Design Specialists, Eric Hazelton. Marge called Eric because she was concerned about the water leaking into her basement. She had an old sump pump that was not able to keep up after heavy rains and snow melt. Eric met with Marge, evaluated the situation, and designed a unique solution for her home. Marge approved of the plan and moved forward with the project.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production crew began the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying 104 feet of our Waterguard drainage system. Next, the crew installed our UltraSump sump pump and battery backup system and 2 feet of our Cleanspace vapor barrier along the walls. Any water seepage coming through the wall will be directed down into the drainage system, guided to the sump pump, and then expelled from the home through the discharge line. Marge is happy with the project and her peace of mind has been restored, knowing her basement will remain dry!
Laura T.'s foundation bricks were pushing out in her basement in Pipestone, MN. She knew of our Design Specialist, Eric Hazelton, so he went to Laura's house to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. Eric proposed our Wall Anchor System, which is designed to straighten foundation walls back to their natural positions. Laura was confident in the product, so she went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Tremaine Jackson, and his production crew installed our wall anchors to straighten out the foundation wall.
