In Minneapolis, MN, a homeowner had noticed mold growth and excess water in their basement. Tired of the musty smell and dampness, the homeowner searched for "who to call for basement leaks" and found us. Impressed by our reviews, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate.
In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Mac C., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Mac took a close look at where the water leaks were and determined which areas needed waterproofing. Mac also worked closely with the homeowner on a solution that was within their budget. To waterproof the basement, Mac recommended installing WaterGuard, our interior perimeter drainage system that directs water leaks to the sump system, TripleSafe, our reliable sump pump system that comes with three levels of protection, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in sub-zero temperatures. Happy that our products come with a warranty, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Victor S., and his crew arrived for the installation. The crew successfully installed 63ft of WaterGuard, 1 TripleSafe, and 1 IceGuard.

Mitch J. in Coon Rapids, MN had water seeping into his basement. He expressed his frustration about the problem in his basement to a friend and that friend recommended that he call American Waterworks to waterproof his basement. Mitch decided to call us for a free estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to his home to inspect the problem and design a solution. Jeremy worked closely with Mitch to develop a plan that was best fitting for his needs. Mitch was pleased with the proposal that Jeremy presented to him, so he scheduled a date for us to waterproof his basement.
Our production team started the installation by removing the concrete around the perimeter of Mitch’s basement, and the concrete where they needed to install the new sump pump. Then, they laid our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter and a feed line through the middle of the basement floor. The WaterGuard and feed line properly drain water to the sump pump, instead of the water pooling in his basement. Once the water reaches the sump pump, it is pushed through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Mitch was very pleased with the work that the crew did! He is glad he chose to invest in his home and protect his basement for the long-term.

To stop this from worsening, Nick suggested that the wall be permanently stabilized. After deliberating their options, the homeowners knew this was their best option. Once they received approval, our Foreman, Jose and his crew traveled to the home. The crew arrived and began by preparing the lawn and wall for the GeoLock installation. GeoLocks is an innovative wall anchor system that permanently stabilizes your foundation wall by anchoring your walls to untouched soil beyond your foundation.
