Thomas, a homeowner in Burtrum, MN, was having trouble with water in his basement. He wanted to figure out how to solve the problem thoroughly and effectively, so he called American Waterworks to claim his FREE estimate. 

One of our Design Specialists, Shane, went to the property, did a complete evaluation, and gave Thomas his recommendations. Thomas answered all his questions and gave our team the go-ahead to get started.

Our Foreman, Kiko, and his production crew started in on three main goals. First, the installation of our WaterGuard System began with breaking out the concrete floor perimeter and forming a trench. Our WaterGuard is a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and ability to collect leaking water from basement walls. Second, they installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System has three levels of protection to solve all water problems a homeowner may experience.

Along with the TripleSafe Sump Pump is a battery backup that helps in cases where power is lost in a home. The battery keeps the pumps draining any excess water build-up. To complete the WaterGuard project, Kiko and his team covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. 

The team then proceeded to install the CleanSpace Wall System around the perimeter of the basement. This prevents humidity from invading the walls and gives the basement a clean and bright appearance, with a 25-year warranty. Our CleanSpace Wall System is attached to the walls with plastic fasteners, so it never falls.

Tim and Jerry A. of Wood Lake, MN had a gap between their garage floor and their garage wall. They needed to find a foundation repair contractor that could pull their wall toward their garage floor. Our Foreman and his crew installed four of our wall anchors to pull the foundation wall closer to the garage floor. This system is installed by galvanized anchors, steel rods, and anchor plates, which provides the clamping pressure needed to bring the wall back to its natural position. Tim and Jerry were happy with the work that was done and couldn't believe that their wall was finally back to normal!

With water coming through a wall in her basement, Amanda reached out to our team for her FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Shane, headed out to the property. Following a thorough inspection, Shane gave his recommendations to Amanda, suggesting that she invest in our waterproofing services to address the issues. She agreed and set up a time for installation. Foreman Arturo and his crew arrived at the home and quickly got to work. First, they Implemented our WaterGuard system; this particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing as it is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone", making it harder to clog. Next, the team added a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. Our team also installed the UltraSump® Battery Backup System with the sump pump system to ensure lasting reliability. It's designed to keep your sump pump running efficiently and effectively. The UltraSump® system can pump out an excess of 11,500 gallons of water on a fully charged battery, which is enough water to fill a small swimming pool! 

A homeowner in Chandler, MN, saw that their garage floor was beginning to slowly lower. Since they had an annual maintenance appointment coming up, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and scheduled their appointment for concrete repair. After setting the appointment, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Service Technicians, Rasean. Once Rasean arrived at the home, he began his detailed analysis of the garage floor. Rasean forwarded the plans to the office to be approved. Once approved, the office assigned them to our Foreman, Domanik, and his crew. Domanik and the crew traveled to the home to start production. First, the crew installed the PolyLevel underneath the garage floors. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam injection solution that instantly raises sunken concrete. The crew lifted the entire garage floor. Once the garage floor was lifted, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. Laurel Mezner of Baxter, MN had water seepage problems in her basement so she called American Waterworks and our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, went to her home for a FREE Estimate. After inspecting the issue and coming up with a solution, Laurel went ahead with the project. 

Our Foreman, Mason Chamberlin, and his production crew broke out the concrete around the pre-existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which is our best sump pump we have and it provides three levels of protection. Laurel no longer has any leakage problems and now has a restored peace of mind!
