A homeowner's basement in Lime Springs, IA, had flooded after an intense thunderstorm. Frantic to find a solution, the homeowners searched for basement waterproofing options closest to them. Luckily for the homeowner, they came across our Facebook page and knew we were the best choice for them. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Ryan. After Ryan arrived at the home, he started his inspection of the basement. Ryan completed the entire basement walk-through and found many waterproofing issues in the basement. After Ryan alerted the homeowner of his findings, he was able to provide them with a solution. Ryan recommended installing several waterproofing products in the basement to protect it from further intrusion. The homeowner agreed with Ryan's recommendations and the plans were finalized by the office. Once approved by the office, they were sent to our Foreman, Raul, and his crew. Raul and his crew arrived at the home and started by installing WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was installed, the crew took out the previous sump pump and replaced it with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Next, the crew tied the TripleSafe Sump Pump into the WaterGuard system. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. As soon as all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their basement was properly waterproofed and repaired. American Waterworks is happy to provide homeowners with that peace of mind.

Juan and his crew started the project by installing WaterGuard along the south basement wall. Once the WaterGuard was secured, the crew shifted their focus to taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. Our Egress Windows are designed to allow a safe exit out of the home, provide a more inviting entrance to the basement, and bring in more fresh air. Our RockWell Window Well is a one-piece construction that is made for safety and is a great alternative to ugly window windows.
