A homeowner in Bellingham, MN was in his basement space when he noticed how much damage the floors had in one of the bedrooms. Upon closer look, the damage was only around the perimeter of the bedroom and hadn't spread too far into the rest of the room. Ron and Patricia S. of Barrett, M had cracked walls in their family room, so they called American Waterworks to schedule a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Ryan Powell, inspected the problem and came up with a solution. Ron and Patricia moved forward and scheduled an installation ate. 

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team dug eight holes outside of the home and inserted a long, medal rod in each hole from the exterior soil to the interior wall. Our team tightened on a GeoLock Wall Anchor to each rod, making the walls pull back to their original position. Matt and his crew capped the anchors and made sure Ron and Patricia were happy. Larry, from Odessa, MN, was looking for solutions for his vacation home's basement. The basement was experiencing water intrusion during rainy days, so he decided to call American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. Shortly after the appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Shane, headed out to the property. 

Following a thorough inspection, Shane recommended that Larry invest in our WaterGuard system. This particular system is typically used in basements and is the premier choice for basement waterproofing. It is installed below the floor but rests atop the foundation, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and making it harder to clog.

Our Foreman, Tremaine, and his crew began implementing our WaterGuard System, a patented below-floor drain that rests in a drainage bed on top of the foundation footing. It is our most commonly used drain system because of its resistance to water clogs, easy-to-access service ports, and can collect leaking water from basement walls. The team then covered the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. 

The drainage system now properly guides water to the sump pump, which pushes it through the discharge line and expels it from the home.
