Concrete Stairs Get a Lift in Oelwein, IA

Joe and Carolyn of Oelwein, IA, had begun to notice that the stairs and adjoining porch in front of their home were beginning to sink. The couple was worried that if the problem was left unresolved, the gap forming between the stairs and the home would only worsen, creating a bigger trip hazard and a bigger, and more expensive, problem to fix later down the road. They came across our services and decided to get in contact with us to see what could be done. When they called in, set them up with one of our FREE estimates, and our Design Specialist, Tim, was able to go out to the property and do a thorough inspection. Once he concluded, he was able to inform Joe and Carolyn that they were experiencing this issue because the soil beneath the slabs was sinking because of excess rain or heat, causing the soil to shrink. He recommended the couple fix the issue quickly to avoid any further issues down the line. He recommended they use our PolyLevel injection to raise the concrete back to its former state and follow up with our NexusPro to seal the joints connecting the slab and the home and to seal off any remaining holes or points of entry for water. Our Foreman, Jake, and his crew began the project by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete slabs. Next, they injected the foam into the holes, paying close attention to the slab as it was lifted. Finally, they sealed off any remaining holes with the NexusPro.

When the job was complete, Joe and Carolyn were happy they no longer had to worry about trip hazards forming!

Leaky Basement Window Replaced in Oelwein, IA

A homeowner in Oelwein, IA, knew it was time to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. The homeowner called our Service team and scheduled their annual maintenance appointment. Once the appointment was made, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Service Technician, Julio.  A few days later, Julio arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the installed products. During the inspection, Julio confirmed all the products were working correctly. However, Julio noticed some signs of water damage near the basement windows. To prevent the damage from worsening, Julio recommended replacing the current basement window with our Rockwell Egress Window Well. Knowing this was their best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the recommendations. Next, Julio passed the proposal to our Logistics team to build and prepare the project. Our Logistics team gave the final stamp of approval, they scheduled the project with our Foreman, Gabriel, and his crew. A few weeks later, Gabriel and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Gabriel and his team started by taking out the old window and replacing it with a new window and a Rockwell Egress Window Well. After the Rockwell Egress Window Well was secured, the crew shifted to installing a line of WaterGuard. Finally, the crew wrapped up by attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowner peace of mind knowing their basement is secured.

Basement Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

A homeowner in Crosby, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about mold build-up, water moisture, and a flooded basement. They did research on our website and came across our basement waterproofing products. The homeowner called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home to examine the water issues and come up with a solution that fits their needs. The homeowner was confident in Chad's TripleSafe Sump Pump System proposal and design, so they scheduled an installation date and signed the contract.

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor in the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, comes with a battery back-up, and solves all three water problems in one system. Our crew connected the discharge line, ran it through the ceiling, and out of the home. To complete the project, our crew applied new concrete around the sump pump and left the basement cleaner than when they found it. The homeowner had a remarkable experience from start to finish!

Leaky Basement Gets Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

Tom from Crosby, ND had begun to notice a large amount of water finding its way into the basement of his lakeside home. He was tired of constant water intrusion and was afraid that, if left untreated, he would run the risk of doing more costly damage to the space. He did some research and found our company and gave us a call. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to see what could be done to fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended that Tom have our WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe Sump Pump installed to correct the issue. He explained to Tom that the WaterGuard is installed below the floor to catch any water entering the space, and then deposits it to the TripleSafe, keeping the space dry because of the capacity the TripleSump is able to withstand. Tom agreed with Kole's recommendations and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Kevin, ended up installing 128 ft of our WaterGuard, and 1 of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Once the job was completed, Tom was happy to know his basement water issues were in the past.
