A homeowner in Preston, MN became worried when he was in his basement and found puddles of water on the floor. The water had already caused some damage to the space and he didn't wany any more to happen if he left the problem alone. He called our appointment center and scheduled a time for his FREE estimate appointment with one of our Design Specialists, Ryan Kennedy. When Ryan arrived at the home, he inspected the basement area and found the concerns that the homeowner had mentioned. Ryan informed the homeowner that waterproofing was needed in order to stop the problems from happening again and the homeowner agreed. The plans were given to one of our Foremen, Jeromy Anderson, and his crew and they visited the site ready to carry out the installations. They began by installing our WaterGuard system which is designed to intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and safely send it away. They also covered the walls with CleanSpace to act as a barrier for incoming water to move down to the drain system. The homeowner was so happy with the results and grateful for our services.

Richard A. of Braham, MN had a cracked foundation causing it to push inward. He was worried about the structural stability of his home, so he got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Chad, went to Richard's house to carefully inspect his cracked foundation and recommend a solution. Richard was comfortable with Chad's approach and presentation of our wall anchor system, so he moved forward with the project. 

Our Foreman, Jose C., and his crew installed six of our wall anchors, which are made to repair and stabilize bowing and cracked walls. This anchor-rod installation involves digging out and removing soil, minimal disturbance to landscaping, and soil backfill and compaction. This system can permanently stop inward movement walls and in fact, over time, homeowners can tighten them by themselves to ensure the system is sticking to its design.

John B. in Stillwater, MN had an added-on porch that had started settling. The concrete had started to sink, and the foundation walls were cracked. Our production crew installed 6 wall anchors underneath the porch and CarbonArmor over the cracks in the wall. They also injected PolyLevel foam to raise the concrete around the foundation and make it a level surface. The combination of these foundation and concrete repair products have stabilized John’s foundation. He now has peace of mind that his porch is secure. He is glad he chose to invest in the protection of his most important asset.

The Val Croix Home Owner’s Association in Stillwater, MN contacted American Waterworks after being referred by a previous satisfied customer. The condominium had water seeping into the underground garage. The association knew they needed a permanent solution, and our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, was happy to evaluate the situation and propose a solution to fit their needs. 

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete along the perimeter of the water-damaged wall to make a trench for our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner, and our BrightWall rigid plastic paneling along the walls. BrightWall is 100% waterproof, durable, washable, and will not support the growth of mold or rot. The association is pleased with the results and confident they chose the best solution!
