A homeowner in Lidgerwood, ND, grew extremely concerned after discovering their basement wall was beginning to bend inward. Worried their home would collapse, the homeowner knew they needed help immediately. Since Fargo, ND, was not that far, the homeowner decided to look at expert foundation repair based there. One of the first companies was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to look at our previous jobs. The homeowner was impressed with the work completed by our crews, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner waited for the arrival of James, one of our Design Specialists. After James arrived, he began his detailed walkthrough of the basement. Once his walk-through was complete, James determined the walls were close to failure. To stop the failure from continuing, James recommended installing EverBrace, a product specialized for our North Dakota territory. After learning more about EverBrace and its benefits, the homeowner decided to proceed with the project. James passed the plans along to our Logistic team and they built the project and assigned it to our Foreman, Franklin, and his crew. Once they received the plans, Franklin and his crew traveled to the home and started the EverBrace installation. First, Franklin and his crew took off the old paneling to expose the extremely damaged wall. After exposing the wall, the crew was able to install the EverBrace wall system along the east and south basement walls. Once the EverBrace system was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was in awe of the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customer's caving basement walls.
Cassidy B. in Lynd, MN had her home tested for radon. When the results came back high, she started doing some research. She was happy to learn that American Waterworks can easily give an estimate and install a radon mitigation system. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Reed Hudson, to meet with Cassidy, inspect her home, and design a customized system.
Our Foreman, Dakota Merchlewitz, started the installation process by drilling a hole in the slab foundation of the home and connected a PVC pipe. The radon gas is drawn upward and the pipe guides it to the fan. The fan draws and vents radon safely above and away from the home. Cassidy was impressed with the quick installation and is glad she took the necessary steps to protect her family.
Joel, a homeowner in Dazey, ND was experiencing issues in his basement space with walls moving and cracking along with water intrusion, all of which led him to call our office.
He feared he might risk compromising the home's structural integrity if he left the issue unresolved. When he called in, we set him up with a FREE estimate. Shortly after his appointment was scheduled, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property. After Ian completed a thorough walkthrough, he explained how our team would properly address the issue.
The project Foreman, Domenic, and team began working on the West side of the home north of the garage, the team began by excavating the soil outside of the home as needed to prepare for the installation of our solutions. Then, they installed our SentrySeal Waterproofing Membrane to the exterior as well as our SilverGlo Insulation System to hold back moisture and ensure energy-efficient insulation. SilverGlo comibes highly effective graphite-impregnated insulation with a built-in radiant heat barrier surface. The crew also removed sheetrock to install four of our GeoLocks anchors. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors are an innovative system that permanently stabilizes foundation walls by anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation. The anchors can be tightened over time. The soil was then backfilled and the team cleaned up the space. At the end of the project, Joel was happy to know that his basement walls were no longer an issue.

Mike inspected his problems and came up with a solution that worked for him and his budget. Rick was happy with Mike's proposal, so he went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his crew installed our PowerBraces around his basement wall perimeter. Our PowerBraces is a foundation wall repair system that is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten them over time. Over time, they can be tightened by the homeowner to make the bowed walls straighter and more vertical. Rick was happy with the repairs and had a great experience!
Joe V. of Brewster, MN had bowing foundation walls in his basement that were getting worse. He heard that American Waterworks does Free Estimates so he gave us a call. We sent out our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough inspection and written proposal going over our GeoLock Anchor Foundation Repair System, which offers a 25-year warranty and is one of the most effective when stabilizing foundation walls, Joe went ahead and scheduled his installation date.
Our foreman, Juan Pena, and his production crew started the installation by digging 13 holes in the soil around the home. They installed a long metal rod in each hole from the soil to the foundation wall and tightened each side with a 26" x 26" anchor. This allowed the walls to straighten out and refurbish to its normal position. They finished the installation by putting the soil back in the holes and leaving the site cleaner than when they arrived. Joe is very happy with the work that was done and is happy he got a hold of American Waterworks when he did!
