A homeowner in Milnor, ND, noticed an odd odor around their home. After taking a closer look, the homeowner discovered it was coming from their crawl space. The homeowner knew they needed to find an expert to provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into "crawl space encapsulation near me", one of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dylan. A few days later, Dylan traveled to the home and started the appointment. During the appointment, Dylan noted the crawl space needed to be properly encapsulated. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Dylan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Kingsley, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Kingsley and his crew started by installing Drainage Matting on the crawl space floor. Once the Drainage Matting was secured, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished crawl space walls and floors. Once both products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. Todd M. of Canby, MN had water seeping into his basement, making him feel nervous about water moisture, humidity, mold build-up, and other water damages. He got in contact with our staff at American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Jared Bruns. Jared went to his home, carefully inspected his water problems, and came up with a solution that worked for him and his basement waterproofing needs. Todd got all of his questions answered and felt confident in Jared's proposal, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a waterway trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and serve as an underground drain. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent mold and humidity build-up, act as an extra wall protectant, and give the space a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, Cole and his team filled the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it.

This concrete patio slab has sunk nearly 3" over time, causing water to pool near the home's foundation and a 3 inch void between the concrete and landscaping block of the attached staircase. Our Team was able to raise the concrete patio slab over 4 inches with our trusted PolyLEVEL System to allow for proper drainage after it rains and raised the staircase enough to fill the initial void.
Ray L. in Worthington, MN was concerned about two large cracks from the top of the foundation to the bottom on one wall in his home. While researching foundation repair options, he contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. We sent our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, to his home to inspect the foundation and provide Ray with a solution.
Ray was happy with Dylan’s proposal and the PowerBrace™ Wall Repair System that we offer. He set a date with our production crew to install the adjustable steel I-beam system which stabilized the tilting wall and over time will force the wall sections back to their original position. The PowerBraces do not require outside excavation, so it is less invasive than other foundation repair options. It’s anti-corrosion zinc coating will keep them looking like new for decades to come!

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the project by cutting out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, serve as an underground drain, and collect water leakage from basement walls. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier, which is made to prevent humidity and mold build-up, cover any holes or divots, and provide the room with a neat and clean appearance. Lastly, Juan and his team installed our foundation repair PowerBraces. Our PowerBraces are made to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. PowerBraces can be tightened over time to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical. To complete the project, our team covered the open floor gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. John was thrilled with the project!
