A homeowner in Arcadia, WI, knew it was time to repair their separating front step. Worried this could become a major tripping hazard, the homeowner began looking into "sinking concrete step repair". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to go ahead and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ross, who traveled to the home to begin the inspection. Once the inspection was completed, Ross recommended lifting the steps back to their original position. The homeowner agreed and worked with Ross to find the best installation date. Once the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jordan and his crew started by installing PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution, below the sidewalk. Once the PolyLevel was inserted, the crew shifted to filling the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. After all the products were installed, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. American Waterworks is happy to provide its customers with a high-quality solution.
Sue P. of De Soto, WI had severe water seepage in her basement, so she gave American Waterworks a call to see what we could do to help her. We sent out our Design Specialist, Eric Fox, for a Free Estimate to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough and detailed diagnosis, Sue was content with Eric's proposal, so she went ahead and got an installation date scheduled.
Our foreman, Crescencio Pena, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. Next, they applied 182 feet of our CleanSpace Wall System around the basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace acts as a wall vapor barrier and prevents mold or humidity from invading the concrete walls. Then, our team applied 182 feet of stone thin concrete around the tops of the CleanSpace to make sure it was extra secure. Then, Crescencio and his crew installed 182 feet of WaterGuard in the broken-out concrete. Our WaterGuard acts as a drainage system; it prevents water clogs and collects the water waste from beneath the CleanSpace. To complete the basement, Crescencio and his team filled the open gaps with rock and replaced the concrete. Sue was very pleased with the project, and was thankful we were able to help her save the life of her home!

In less than a week, one of our Design Specialists arrived at the home for the inspection. During the inspection, our Design Specialist noticed signs of soil washout and explained to the homeowner that it is the process where water moves through the ground and washes away the supporting soils, keeping the slabs upright. To lift their slabs back to their original position, our Design Specialist recommended using PolyLevel, our elite foam solution. Along with PolyLevel, our Design Specialist recommended NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant, to repair cracks and seal the joints. The homeowner happily agreed to the recommendations and decided to move forward with the project.
In about a month, our Foreman, Troy J., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began by drilling small holes into the slabs. Next, PolyLevel is injected beneath. Once the slabs are lifted to the desired height, the crew shifts their attention and applies NexusPro along the joints and cracks.
