Charlene T. in Ferryville, WI came across our booth at the Midwest Farm Show in La Crosse, WI. She was concerned about the moisture in her dirt-floor crawl space. She felt like she was losing energy from that space, so she spoke with our Design Specialist, Dylan Woitas, who was at the show and learned about our crawl space encapsulation services. Dylan set up an appointment with Charlene and went to her home to evaluate the situation and design the best solution. 

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team installed a full perimeter of rim joist insulation which seals the rim joists and lowers Charlene’s energy costs. They also installed our crawl space vapor barrier which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. The combination of these encapsulation products turned the crawl space into a dry, clean and energy efficient part of the house. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Charlene now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space and is saving money on her energy bill each month.

Homeowners in Elkader, IA wanted to get a sump pump installed in their garage because they were worried about groundwater leaking through the floor. They requested a FREE Estimate with our office staff for one of our Design Specialists to come out to their home and take a look. Robert K. in Cashton, WI had several cracks in the walls in his basement and was concerned about the pressure that was being put on his foundation. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and production crew got to work installing our Geo-Lock Channel Anchor System. They started the process by drilling small holes through the brick wall for long metal rods to be inserted. The rods are then stabilized on each end with a channel anchor. The Channel Anchor System provides a permanent solution for bowing, buckling, tilting, or inward-moving foundation walls that are demonstrating signs of extreme wall failure. This solution includes a channel anchor that mounts on the foundation floor and wall for optimal bracing and failure protection. Robert can rest easy knowing that his foundation is now permanently stabilized.

Residents of Strawberry Point, IA wanted an interior drainage system installed in their basement, so they called American Waterworks to tackle the project. Our Design Specialist went to their home for a FREE estimate, inspected the space they were working with, and determined a price. After a clear inspection and estimate, the homeowners decided to move forward with the project.
