Kelle, a homeowner in Baldwin, WI was concerned because her basement had flooded a few times, and she wanted to prevent it from happening again. She contacted us for a FREE estimate to understand our possible solutions. Our Service Technician, Rasean, traveled to her home to take a look around. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was ready to recommend a plan to transform the basement into a healthy, clean space.
With the decision made to install a discharge line in the basement, Foreman Lane and his team went out to the property and got to work. The goal was to direct water away from the foundation of the home so that it would not leak back into the basement. By adding a 30 foot discharge line from the south end of the home into the yard, water gets properly relocated. The team also implemented our LawnScape Outlet, which is a pipe buried from the downspout that lets water outside onto the surface of the lawn while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning, minimizing maintenance for your home. Furthermore, American Waterworks can help prevent wintertime freeze-up of discharge lines. We installed the patented IceGuard® system, an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside of your home and ejects water away from the foundation if the sump pump discharge lines freeze or become clogged. At the end of the project, Kelle was grateful for the work and glad her peace of mind was restored!
A homeowner in Baldwin, WI, made a startling discovery, pools of water in their basement. Anxious about the long-term damage, the homeowners knew they needed a waterproofing professional to give them an answer. After a quick online search, the homeowner saw us at the top of the list. The homeowner reviewed our impressive waterproofing lineup and knew we were the company for them. While on the website, the homeowner signed up for their FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Jesse, to find the source of the water. Once Jesse saw the water, he could provide the homeowner with a solution to stop further water intrusion. Jesse recommended installing brand-new waterproofing products in the basement. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed. Once the plans were approved, we sent our Foreman, Lane, and crew to begin the project. First, the crew started by placing the WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Once the WaterGuard was in place, the crew dug a feedline to the sump pump. Finally, the crew attached CleanSpace to the unfinished basement walls. The crew completed the waterproofing products, so they cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was beyond grateful for the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide another homeowner peace of mind.
Dan C. in Pepin, WI had severe water problems in the basement of his old farmhouse. Water was coming through the sandstone walls as well as the concrete floor. He contacted the waterproofing experts at American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dustin Loftus to inspect his home and develop the right solution for his basement. He was pleased with the solution we recommended, so he scheduled to have our waterproofing system installed as soon as possible.
Our production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor as well as a thin line of concrete through the middle of the floor. They laid our WaterGuard drainage system, a lateral line, and a TripleSafe sump pump and then filled back the gaps in the floor with rock before replacing the concrete. Then, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the basement walls to keep moisture out and prevent from potential mold growth. Dan was pleased with the result and is now enjoying a dry, clean basement!

Jacquilynn L.'s concrete slab along the front of her house was sinking on one end. She had our Design Specialist, Mac, come out to her home and inspect the problem. Mac proposed our PolyLevel and NexusPro, both of which are two of the main concrete systems we provide for homeowners. Jacquilynn was confident in the products and their warranties, so they went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Troy, and his crew member injected 116 pounds of our PolyLevel and applied 26 feet of our NexusPro. Our PolyLevel is a special foam that fills the voids underneath the concrete and stabilizes the concrete surface. Our NexusPro is a sealant that prevents moisture from seeping underneath the cracks and it gives the concrete a neat appearance. The project was completed within three hours and Jacquilynn was satisfied with the work.
