Sinking Slabs Lifted in Melrose, WI

A homeowner in Melrose, WI, had noticed that the slabs along their entryway had begun sinking, causing the area to become bumpy and uneven. Concerned it would be a trip hazard, the homeowner began searching for concrete contractors around the area and found us. After browsing our website and becoming impressed by our before-and-after photos, the homeowner contacted us to schedule their FREE estimate

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Will R, arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Will took a close look at the problem area, taking measurements to determine how far the slabs had begun to sink. After reporting his findings to the homeowner, Will created a proposal recommending PolyLevel, our elite foam solution, to lift the slabs, and NexusPro, our silicone-based sealant, to seal the joints. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and decided to move forward with the project.

In a couple of months, our Foreman, Sam K., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. The crew began drilling small holes into the slabs. Next, PolyLevel is injected beneath the slab, causing it to lift. Once lifted to the desired level, the crew seals the holes.

Melrose, WI, Concrete Leveling Services Completed

A homeowner in Melrose, WI, noticed their sidewalk was sinking. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to find a professional solution. The homeowner looked into "concrete leveling services". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists to take a closer look at the sunken concrete. After taking a closer look, the Design Specialist confirmed that the sidewalk was sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, the Design Specialist recommended inserting PolyLevel below the sinking concrete. Once the install date arrived, our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Jordan and his crew inserted the PolyLevel below the sinking sidewalk and driveway. Once these areas were lifted, the crew shifted to filing and repairing the joints and cracks throughout the concrete with NexusPro. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.

Wet Basement Restored in Bangor, WI

Marvin L. in Bangor, WI was tired of dealing with the water seeping into his basement. It was beginning to cause him stress, and he wanted a permanent solution. He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and we sent one of our Design Specialists, Rick Weber, to evaluate the situation and propose the best, cost-effective solution for his home.

Our Foreman, Austin Lucas, and his production crew began the waterproofing project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, which is backed by three levels of protection. Then, the crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls and our SaniDry dehumidifier to take care of any humidity. With our CleanSpace installed, any water seepage coming through the wall will be directed down into the drainage system. Marvin is happy with the results and glad he chose a permanent solution for his home!

GeoLock Wall Anchor Installation in Bangor, WI

Scott from Bangor, WI had severe cracks in his foundation and his basement walls were caving in, causing Scott to worry about the structural integrity of his barn. This issue with his foundation caused water to enter the farm's basement, making the soil wet and unstable for the barn. Scott then got in contact with the Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim his FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Dustin Loftus. Dustin went to his farm and did a thorough inspection and get a proper diagnosis of the situation to help Scott. Once the situation was carefully inspected, Dustin proposed that the solution for the damaged wall was the installation of our GeoLock Wall Anchors. Scott was confident in the proposal and scheduled an installation date right away.

Our Foreman, Jose Castillo, and his production team then began the project by stabilizing the wall to prevent the wall from further caving in during the process of installation. The production crew then drilled 6 holes through the foundation into the hard-packed soil to install the six GeoLocks that are needed. At the end of each rod was a GeoLock Anchor which helps stabilize and straighten the foundation wall. Once the GeoLocks had been placed and secured, the production team then dug the soil to expose the exterior of the failing wall and be able to waterproof the failing wall to prevent water from seeping through. Once finished with this process. the production team then patched and sealed the cracks on the failing wall.

Scott was very satisfied with the work done and was not worried that the foundation of his barn would cave in!!
