Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Chuck. After Chuck arrived, he began the thorough inspection of the basement and foundation. During his inspection, Chuck discovered several areas that were suffering and needed to be repaired. To ensure the issue doesn’t continue, Chuck recommended installing a variety of products. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Chuck’s proposal. Next, the proposal was passed along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. As soon as the proposal was finalized, it was scheduled for the following month. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Juan, and his crew traveled to the home. Juan and his crew arrived at the home and began the installation. First, Juan and his crew installed Geolock Wall Anchors on the walls. Next, the crew shifted their focus to installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter. Finally, the crew secured an Aprilaire in the basement. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the crew’s excellent work ethic. Our Foreman, Arturo Mares, and his crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed a section of the concrete floor around the perimeter and created a drainage trench. The WaterGuard is then placed within the trench and filled back with rock to fill the gaps. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to protect the room from moisture and potential mold growth. The encapsulation system will now guide water leaking in through the foundation walls and redirect it to their WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system and ultimately drain into the SuperSump sump pump. Cy is pleased that his basement is now a dry, healthier space and he is glad he chose to invest in the long-term protection of his home.

Our Foreman, Tyler Brockway, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the concrete surface, which is a special foam insulation that fills the voids underneath the concrete surface. Next, our team applied our NexusPro over the cracks to prevent moisture from seeping underneath the slab and to give the concrete a clean, polished appearance. First, the crew installed 20 GeoLock anchors around the basement. Then, the crew installed four PowerBraces on the east foundation wall.
