In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, James N., arrived at the home to assess the basement. As he was inspecting the basement, he noted the issues and created a proposal for the homeowner. He recommended installing our WaterGuard, a below-the-floor drain system that intercepts water around the perimeter of the basement and takes it to the sump pump, CleanSpace, a vapor wall barrier that prevents water from permeating the walls and takes water leaks to the drain system, TripleSafe, a sump pump system that comes with 3 levels of protection, IceGuard, a anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the sump pump discharge pipes freeze, and Aprilaire Dehumidifier. After reviewing the proposal, the homeowner decided to move forward with the project.
In a couple of months, our Foreman, Franklin O., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They installed 78ft of WaterGuard and CleanSpace. Then, they installed 2 IceGuards as well as the TripleSafe and Dehumidifier. Once they were done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

Charles W. in Saint James, MN had large, stair-step like cracks in three of his basement walls. He noticed they had started to bow inwards, so he decided it would be a good idea to have a professional look at it. A friend of his had a good experience with American Waterworks so he recommended that Charles contact us to repair his foundation. Charles called us for a free estimate, so we sent one of our Design Specialists, Jeremy Radtke, to his home to inspect the situation and find a solution for him. Charles was pleased with the thorough plan that Jeremy developed, and he felt that we were a good fit for him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew strategically placed seventeen Geo-Lock wall anchors along the three bowing walls. The anchors are placed in the ground outside of the home and drilled into the basement walls. Then, the plates are screwed on and tightened. Once the plates are tightened, the walls straighten and stabilize. Charles can rest easy knowing he chose a permanent solution to secure his foundation because our anchors are backed by a lifetime warranty.

A customer from Saint James, MN got in contact with us when he had enough of unwanted water and moisture finding its way into his basement. He feared that if he left the issue unresolved, he could run the risk of developing mold and bacteria or damaging the structural integrity of the home. When he called our Appointment Center, we got him scheduled with our FREE estimate; a thorough inspection of the issue by one of our Design Specialists. When our Design Specialist stopped at the house, he completed his walk-through and made recommendations as to how we could remedy the issue. He began by informing the homeowner that water was entering the basement through cracks and porous holes in the wall. He said we could fix this issue by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along with our WaterGuard drainage system. He explained to the homeowner that the CleanSpace is a tarp-like material that gets tacked to the wall. It works to catch any water entering the home through the wall, directing it downwards. He went on to say that this is where the WaterGuard comes into play. This drainage system lies beneath the concrete of the floor and catches water dripping down the wall, directing it to the appropriate disposal site. The customer agreed with our recommendations and work began shortly after.
Our construction crew, led by Foreman Lane, ended up installing 100 ft of both the CleanSpace and WaterGuard throughout the basement of the home. When the job was completed, our customer was happy to know that no more unwanted water would find its way into his basement!

He wanted to get a quote for a Radon Mitigation System installed in his home, so he contacted American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Jesse Williams. Jesse went to Andrew's home, drew out a plan for where the system should be installed, and determined the price of the system. After a thorough discussion, Andrew felt confident in Jesse's plan, so he moved forward with the project and got a date scheduled for the installation.
Our Foreman, Geno Mclain, and his crew installed PVC piping from the basement, up, until they got to the outside of the home. At that point, they installed our Radon Mitigation System, which is the heart of the system. If the system isn't working, then radon is not being pulled from within the home.
