A Moorhead, MN, man had just learned of the dangers that radon gases pose to households. He wanted to ensure the safety of his family, so he headed to a local home improvement store to pick up a short-term radon test. After following the instructions on the package, he was alarmed to find out that the radon level in his home was 5 pCi/L. He didn't want his family to breathe in unhealthy air for longer than necessary, so he began to look for a radon mitigation company that could give him more radon gas information. Through his search, he found our website and signed up for his FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Jackson P, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home to see what could be done.
Once he finished his inspection, Jackson was ready to discuss the next steps with the homeowner. Jackson informed the homeowner that he wanted to install a radon mitigation system. When installed by an experienced radon mitigation specialist, a radon abatement system will lower the concentration of radon gas in your interior air to the minimal levels recommended by the EPA and other health and safety agencies. Before installing a radon mitigation system, the contractor will run a radon test to determine if radon abatement is necessary. A typical radon mitigation system consists of a large-diameter plastic pipe that connects the air beneath your foundation to the outdoors. An in-line fan sucks radon-rich air from beneath your foundation and expels this hazardous air to the exterior. Instead of entering your basement or other living space area through numerous gaps and cracks in the foundation, radon gas is extracted from beneath your foundation before it can permeate into interior space. The homeowner agreed with Jackson's recommendations and scheduled the job for some time later.
On the day of the project, Jackson returned to install the system. He completed the project with no complications. Now, our customer can confidently breathe fresh air circulating in his home!

A homeowner in Moorhead, MN recently learned of the dangerous health risks with radon. He learned that radon is a by-product of uranium, a naturally occurring radioactive element which can be found in soil. Concerned that his family was unknowingly breathing in the toxic fumes, the homeowner decided to use a radon testing kit. After a couple of days the results were over 4 pCi/L and the homeowner contacted us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, James N., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, James explained to the homeowner that it was good that he tested his home for radon as we cannot smell, taste, hear, see, or touch it. James then created a design to where our radon mitigation system would be installed. After looking at the proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.
In a couple of weeks, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, Jackson P., and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began the installation by installing a PVC pipe into the footing of the home. The pipe is then connected to the radon mitigation system which is installed outside of the home. Once the crew was done with the installation and they ensured everything was working properly, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A homeowner in Cyrus, MN, noticed that his driveway had developed cracks and become uneven. Concerned that it would worsen and become a tripping hazard, he searched for concrete services in the area. He came upon our website, was impressed with our job stories, and decided to contact us to schedule his FREE estimate.
In a couple of weeks, our Design Specialist, Tony B., arrived at the home to assess the driveway. Tony explained to the homeowner that one of the common reasons for sinking and cracked concrete is soil washout. As it rains and floods, the water moves through the ground underneath the concrete, and it can wash away the supporting soil holding up the slab. For this reason, Tony recommended our PolyLevel, to lift the concrete so that the driveway would be even. The homeowner happily agreed with his plans, and Tony's design was sent to our Foreman, Charlie C.
In about two weeks, Charlie and his crew arrived at the home for the installation. They began by drilling small holes into the slab and injection ports and installed them. Then, PolyLevel is injected underneath the slab and expands in the space between the slab and the soil. Once the concrete has been lifted, the crew ensures that it is fully leveled before sealing the holes with concrete. Once the crew was done, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.
Now, our customer can have peace of mind knowing his driveway is smooth and even! Are you experiencing something similar? Click HERE to schedule your FREE estimate today!
