A customer from Moorhead, MN, got in contact with us when they noticed their basement wall was beginning to lean inward. They knew if they left the issue, they would run the risk of the wall failing completely, which would be hazardous to the structural integrity of the home and would cost more to fix at that stage. When they called in, they used their FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to their property to do a thorough inspection of the issue. When he concluded, he found that the wall was leaning 2' inward, meaning corrective action was needed. Kole was able to recommend the homeowner a solution, our PowerBrace wall repair system. Kole explained that our PowerBrace is a steel I-beam designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. This system can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter and more vertical over time, meaning the system will last for a long time to come. Our Foreman, Zach, and his crew ended up strategically installing 7 of our PowerBraces along the Southside of the basement.
