Sunken Concrete Driveway Raised in Adrian, MN

Jim D. in Adrian, MN had a concrete driveway that had sunk a few inches over time, creating a large trip hazard and an annoying bump when driving in and out of the garage. While looking for a concrete repair contractor, he came across American Waterworks' website and was curious to learn more about our PolyLevel foam concrete repair solution. He contacted us for a FREE estimate, so we happily sent one of our Design Specialist to his home to inspect his concrete problem and find a solution. Jim liked the proposal that Jeremy developed, so he moved forward with the installation.

One of our PolyLevel experts drilled small holes into the concrete driveway where the foam would need to be injected in order to effectively raise the concrete. Then, he injected the foam until the driveway was once again level with the garage. Lastly, he filled the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant and cleaned up his work area. Jim was very pleased with the result and was glad he found a quick, durable and more affordable alternative to traditional concrete repair.

Concrete Lifted and Repaired in Round Lake, MN

Sharon M. of Round Lake, MN had sunken and cracked concrete on her front stoop and she wanted to get it repaired rather than replaced. She found American Waterworks and worked with our Design Specialist, Brain Ramirez. Brian wrote up a proposal for our PolyLevel and NexusPro, which are two of our main concrete products. Sharon was confident in the systems, so she followed through with the project.

Our Foreman, Dylon Mish, and his crew member injected our PolyLevel beneath the concrete, which is designed to raise the concrete and stabilize the surface to its natural position. Next, our crew applied our NexusPro over the crack, which is made to prevent water moisture from seeping underneath the concrete. It also gives the concrete a nice, clean finish.

Concrete Patio Sinking in Lakefield, MN

A homeowner from Lakefield, MN, got in touch with us when she was in the process of updating her outdoor space. She had a large crack forming and had been sinking for years. Wanting to get her space updated, she decided to give us a call and set up her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Tony B, headed out to the home.

Once Tony finished his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner to give his recommendations. Tony explained that American Waterworks could address the sinking by installing our PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. He went on to say that we finished our installations with the application of our NexusPro. A silicone-based sealant, NexusPro gets applied to the joints and cracks in the concrete, preventing any unwanted debris or moisture from getting below the slab. The homeowner agreed to the proposed work, and the job was scheduled for a few weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Domanik, was able to lift the concrete successfully, updating the curb appeal of the patio. Now, our customer is free to upgrade her space and enjoy her outdoor oasis!
