Sinking Church Walkway Gets Lifted in Maple Grove, MN

A church employee was growing concerned over a piece of sunken concrete in a walkway many congregants frequented. Not wanting anyone to take a tumble, he decided to begin the search for a company that could fix the issue for his congregation. During his search, he found the American Waterworks website. He decided to take advantage of our FREE estimates, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Dave S, headed out to the property to see what we could do.

Once Dave finished his inspection, he was ready to give his recommendations. Dave explained that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel method. Our PolyLevel is a dense, polyurethane foam that expands when injected beneath sinking concrete slabs, filling voids left by soil erosion and slowly lifting the concrete back into place. The church employee agreed and the work was scheduled for a few weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Sam K, was able to complete the lift, successfully lifting the slab back to its original position and eliminating trip hazards. Now, our customer is thrilled to know his congregants no longer face trip hazards!

Sunken Concrete Walkway Lifted in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, was bringing groceries into her home one day when she took a nasty fall. When she inspected what had caused her fall, she was surprised to find out that the culprit was her front walkway. It had sunken away from the front concrete stoop, creating a nasty trip hazard. The homeowner knew she couldn't leave the issue alone, so she began to look for concrete repair near Minneapolis, MN. When she came across one of our printed ads in a local shopper, she called to schedule her FREE estimate. Several weeks later, Kyle P, one of our Design Specialists, headed out to the home.

Kyle got right to work assessing the sunken concrete, and when he finished, he was ready to make his recommendation. Kyle informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking with the help of our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands as it is injected underneath sunken concrete. As the foam expands, it fills voids left by soil erosion and lifts the sunken concrete back to its desired location. Kyle went on to say that he was recommending our NexusPro silicone-based joint sealant to safeguard the lift. He explained that NexusPro gets installed directly to the cracks and joints of the newly lifted concrete, and works to prevent unwanted moisture from getting below the concrete, potentially compromising the lift. The homeowner liked the sound of Kyle's plan and scheduled the work for some time later.

On the day of the project, Dylon M, one of our Foremen, led his team through the lift, level, and sealing of the concrete. Now, our customer can walk up to her home in confidence, knowing that her concrete is as level as can be!

Sunken Walkway Lifted in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner from Maple Grove, MN, had been aware of her front concrete walkway slowly settling over the years. She feared that if she let the problem worsen, it might be more costly to fix down the road. She had no idea who to turn to for concrete repairs near Maple Grove, MN. She hopped on the internet and eventually found our website. She was impressed with our past work in the area, so she signed up for her FREE estimate, and several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Gary, headed out to the home.

Gary inspected the concrete, and when he finished his inspection, he informed the homeowner that we could address the sinking concrete with the help of our PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected beneath concrete slabs. It slowly fills voids left by soil erosion and, in the process, lifts the concrete back to it's desired location. Gary went on to say that he recommended sealing off the concrete with our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to the cracks and joints in the newly lifted concrete and acts as a barrier to keep unwanted moisture out. The homeowner agreed with Gary's recommendations and scheduled the job on the spot.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Dylon V, headed out to the home and was able to complete the lift and seal with no complications. Now, our customer can put her worries about her concrete behind her!

Concrete Repair Specialist in Maple Grove, MN

A homeowner in Maple Grove, MN, tripped while walking into their home one evening. Concerned this could turn into a major tripping hazard, the homeowner knew they needed to find a solution. Hoping to avoid total concrete replacement, the homeowner looked into "concrete repair specialist near me". At the top of the recommendations was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our high ratings and reviews, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist. A few weeks later, the Design Specialist arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the inspection, the Design Specialist discovered the concrete was sinking due to settlement. To prevent the settlement from continuing, the Design Specialist recommended inserting PolyLevel underneath the struggling sidewalk. After hearing the benefits of the PolyLevel, the homeowner knew this was the best solution. Next, the Design Specialist passed the proposal to our Logisitcs team to give the final stamp of approval. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project for the following weeks, then it was assigned to our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew. A few weeks later, Jordan and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jordan and his crew started by installing PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution, underneath the struggling sidewalk. Once the PolyLevel was fully installed, the crew shifted to inserting NexusPro in the cracks and joints of the sidewalk. After all the cracks and joints were repaired, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was glad they avoided concrete replacement. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customers' damaged and sinking concrete.

Concrete Walkway Gets Lifted in Maple Grove, MN

A customer from Maple Grove, MN got in contact with us when they began to notice that their front walkway was showing signs of sinkage. They were afraid that if they left the problem alone they would run the risk of creating even more drastic tripping hazards which could result in injury. When they called in we set them up with our FREE estimate. Once the appointment was booked, our Design Specialist, Brian R, headed out to the property. Once Brian completed his walkthrough he informed the homeowner that the reason they were experiencing the sinkage was because of the soil underneath the concrete slabs. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to fix the issue. He explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that expands once it's injected beneath the concrete through small holes on the surface. Our customer agreed with this plan of action and work began once the weather warmed up.

Our PolyLevel Production crew, led by our Foreman, Sam, began the process by strategically drilling holes into the problem concrete. Next, they slowly injected the PolyLevel into the holes, monitoring the lifting process to ensure the slab returned to its former state. They finished the process by sealing all remaining joints and cracks with our NexusPro to ensure that no unwanted water would get beneath the slab in the future.

Once the job was complete our homeowner was happy to know that they didn't have to worry about any tripping hazards in the future!
