Failing Foundation Finds a Solution in West Concord, MN

A West Concord, MN, homeowner was down in his basement one night, when he saw tiny stair step cracks beginning to run down the wall. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ryan M, stopped out at the home. After a careful evaluation of the space, Ryan met back with the homeowner. Ryan explained that wall anchors counteract soil pressure by anchoring walls to stable, undisturbed soil outside the home. Threaded rods are extended through the wall, and then the plates are tightened, slowly restoring the wall over time. The homeowner was thrilled with Ryan's solution, and the two decided to find a date for the installation.
