Cracked Foundation Wall Stabilized in Farmington, MN

Maren R. in Farmington, MN had a foundation wall in the basement that had a long, horizontal crack through it near the top. The wall had started to bow inward so Maren decided that it was time to reach out to a professional. They contacted American Waterworks to receive a FREE estimate, so we sent our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke, to inspect the home. Jeremy determined that the best solution to repair the foundation would be to install wall anchors. Maren was pleased with Jeremy’s design and the proposal, so they scheduled the installation.

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his crew installed 8 Geo-Lock wall anchors along the wall. This immediately halted any further deterioration of the wall, and once the anchors were completely tightened, the wall began to straighten. The installation took two days to complete, but having the anchors installed has restored Maren’s peace of mind. This permanent foundation repair solution is far more efficient and cost-effective than replacing the foundation.
