A homeowner in Sherburn, MN, knew it was time to have the large crack in their foundation wall inspected by a professional. Not sure who to work with, the homeowner asked some friends for recommendations. Several of their friends recommended working with us, American Waterworks. The homeowner visited our site and was impressed by foundation repair services, so they decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was made, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Dylan. Once he arrived, Dylan began his detailed inspection of the foundation wall and basement. Following his inspection, Dylan determined that the foundation walls required permanent stabilization. Dylan also warned the homeowners if this goes unfixed, the wall will eventually fail. Wanting to solve the issue, the homeowner agreed with Dylan's recommendations, and the plans were sent to the assigned crew. Our Foreman, Juan, and his crew made their way out to the home to begin the project. First, the crew prepared the basement for the GeoLock installation. GeoLocks is our innovative wall anchor system that will permanently stabilize your foundation wall by anchoring your walls to the hard-packed untouched soil beyond your foundation. On the north wall, the crew installed five GeoLock anchors. Additionally, the homeowners requested to have the tightening kit included with the GeoLocks. The crew completed the installation and cleaned up their site. The homeowners were grateful to know their walls were no longer at risk of wall failure. American Waterworks is happy to give another customer peace of mind.
Rod B. of Breckenridge, MN had cracked foundation walls in his basement, making him consider the value of his home. He did some research online and came across our FREE Estimate request form on our website. Our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, went to his home to inspect his problem and come up with a solution. After a thorough diagnosis, Rod felt comfortable with Rick's proposal, so he scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his production team began the installation by digging 6 holes in the backyard. Next, they inserted a long, metal rod from the inside of the foundation wall to each hole outside of the home. Then, our crew tightened and screwed on a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the ends of each rod to straighten and pull the foundation wall back to its normal position. Our wall anchors can be tightened over time by the homeowner to be sure they are still functioning properly. To complete the project, Juan and his team backfilled the holes and replaced the soil.

Jayson N. of Breckenridge, MN wanted to straighten and secure his wood foundation, so he researched contractors who could perform that specific kind of service. Jayson was confident in the product, so he went ahead with the project.
Our Foreman, Ryan Loe, and his production team went about the repairs and were able to fix the foundation wall in three days. When installed, each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides enough pressure against the inside of the foundation wall to bring it back to its normal position. Wall anchors are the most versatile wall repair method because they can be used to straighten walls with a variety of problems, such as bowing walls, tipping walls, and walls that are pushing in at the bottom.
