Deb W. of Fargo, MN had settlement issues with her home, making her worry about the structural engineering of her home. After hearing about American Waterworks, she called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Rick Weber. Rick went to her home to inspect the problem and come up with a solution. He proposed our helical piers foundation repair products, which help create a supportive base that transfers the weight of a home to its supporting soils. Deb got all of her questions answered, so she scheduled an installation date.
Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production team began the installation by digging out the soil surrounding the home. Matt and his crew mechanically screwed sections of the helical pier into the soil. Once the pier met its depths, our crew installed foundation brackets below the footing. The weight of the home was able to transfer through the helical pier to deep soils. Lastly, Matt and his crew replaced the soil to make sure the yard looked neater than when they found it. Matt said the homeowner was extremely happy with the project and was grateful she could open her windows again!

Next, our team installed and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor at the ends of each rod to straighten and stabilize the wall back into its original position. Joe and Janessa D. of Fargo, ND had bowing walls in their basement, making them worry about the structural build and stability of their house. They knew of our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz, so they talked to him about coming out to their home for a FREE estimate. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team started the installation by digging holes outside of the home beyond the foundation. Next, our team inserted a long, metal rod from the interior foundation to each hole outside of the home. At the end of each rod in the soil, our team installed an anchor plate, which provides the pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. Next, from the interior foundation, our team installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor to the end of each rod to stabilize the foundation wall and pull it back into its normal position. Over time, the homeowner can tighten the anchors to ensure that the system is working properly. To finish the installation, Corey and his crew backfilled each hole outside of the home, compacted the soil, and ensured the yard looked neat and cleaned up.
