Dean D. in Good Thunder, MN contacted us when he noticed that he had two severely bowing walls in his finished basement. We sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his walls, develop the right solution for his situation and provide him with a FREE estimate. We recommended installing wall anchors because they would permanently stabilize and start to straighten his walls and it would be far more cost-effective than replacing the foundation. He liked our solution and enjoyed working with our Specialist, so he scheduled the installation.

In order to get to the block foundation, we had to remove the drywall. We excavated the soil around the sides of the home with the bowing walls. This helps up straighten the walls back to their original position. Then we drilled small holes through the block foundation walls into the soil. We inserted long metal rods, and once the rods were in place, we secured each end with anchor plates. We tightened the anchors as far as they could go, and the wall started to straighten. Dean's basement walls have been permanently stabilized with the installation of the wall anchors. He is glad he chose to protect the foundation of his home.

They secured each end of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they would go. Using wall anchors, our production crew drilled small holes through the failing block foundation and into the soil surrounding the home. In order to straighten the wall, they had to dig out the soil pushing against the foundation. They secured each end of the metal rods with anchor plates and tightened them as far as they would go. This process gradually straightened the foundation wall, and permanently secured it. Bill was pleased with the entire process and is glad he made the investment to restore the value of his home!

Our Foreman, Rene Hernandez, and his production team dug seven holes outside of the home and installed our GeoLock Wall Anchors. To do this, they inserted a long, medal rod in each hole from the outside soil to the inside foundation wall, and tightened an anchor on the ends of each rod. Our GeoLock Wall Anchors are designed to pull the walls back into their natural position. To complete the project, Rene and his team back filled the holes and replaced the soil. Matt and Michelle were happy with the outcome and were amazed at how quick the work was completed!
