A homeowner in Bismarck, ND, worried their driveway was becoming a tripping hazard. Wanting to permanently solve the issue, the homeowner began looking into concrete repair or lifting near Bismarck, ND. At the top of the search results was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to take a look at the services we offer. Once the homeowner saw our 5-star ratings and reviews, they knew we were the best option for their home. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Ian discovered that the driveway was sinking into the ground, leading to uneven slabs. To stop the sinking, Ian recommended lifting the slabs back to their original level with our PolyLevel solution. The homeowner agreed with Ian's recommendations, so he passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build and schedule the project. After the project was set, the proposal was sent to our Foreman, Charlie, and his crew. Charlie and his crew traveled to Bismarck and began the project. The crew began by lifting the driveway slabs with PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam injection solution. After the slabs were lifted, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their driveway was no longer a tripping hazard. American Waterworks is delighted to eliminate trip hazards around their customers' homes.

Radon Risk Lowered in Bismarck, ND

A homeowner in Bismarck, ND, recently read an article about the dangers of radon, an invisible, odorless gas. Worried about their home's radon levels, the homeowner began looking into "radon testing and abatement near Bismarck, ND". The homeowner sifted through several companies, but only one company stood above the rest, American Waterworks. Impressed with our Radon Mitigation Systems, the homeowner knew we were the best option for their home. Next, the homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent James, one of our Design Specialists, to the home to take a closer look. James traveled to Bismarck and began the radon test. While the test was going on, James was able to find the best radon extraction points in the home. After the test was completed, it showed that the radon levels were alarmingly high. James recommended installing a Radon Mitigation System in the home and the homeowner agreed with his suggestions. Once approved by the homeowner, the plans were passed along to our office to give the final stamp of approval. Once our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, the plans were sent to Jackson, our Radon Sales & Service Technician, to begin. Jackson arrived at the home and began the installation. Jackson installed the Radon Mitigation System on the north side of the home near the front door. Once the Radon Mitigation System was secured, Jackson cleaned up his materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted to know their radon risk had been lowered. American Waterworks is happy to provide their homeowner's peace of mind.

Wet Basement Waterproofing in Bismarck, ND

Tasha S. of Bismarck, ND had water seeping into her basement floor on the west side of the home during heavy or light rain. After doing some research on basement waterproofing contractors in her area, she came across American Waterworks and got a FREE Estimate scheduled with our Design Specialist, Ian. Ian went to Tasha's home, inspected her basement problems, and drew up a solution that would suit her needs. She was confident in Ian's proposal, so she moved forward with the project.

Our Foreman, Cameron Phrakonekham, and his production team began the project by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard Below-Floor Drain, which is the most common interior drainage system that we provide for homeowners. It prevents water clogs and can collect water seepage from basement walls. Next, our team installed our CleanSpace Wall System around the entire basement wall perimeter. Our CleanSpace is made to prevent humidity and mold, cover any open or big voids, and gives the basement a neat appearance. To finish the installation, our crew filled the open-floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over them. The homeowner was very happy with the work that was performed!
