Cracked Concrete Walkway Gets Repaired in Farmington, MN

A Farmington, MN, homeowner was growing concerned about her front walkway. It had been sinking over the years but recently had formed numerous cracks on the surface, resulting in serious trip hazards. The homeowner wanted to ensure no one took a tumble, so she began her search for MN concrete repair. When she came across our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Romeo V, made a stop at her home.

Once Romeo finished his inspection, he met with the homeowner to discuss recommendations. Romeo began by saying that concrete can sink for a variety of reasons but that we could fix the issue using our PolyLevel method. Romeo explained that PolyLevel is a dense polyurethane foam that expands when it's injected below sinking concrete slabs and slowly lifts the slabs back into place. He went on to say that once the lift is complete, our team will install our NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant gets applied directly to cracks and joints in the concrete and works to prevent moisture from getting below the concrete to the vulnerable soil below. The homeowner liked the sound of Romeo's plan and scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Dylon V, and his team were able to lift and seal the concrete without complications. Now, our customer is thrilled to know she no longer has to worry about trip hazards!

Nancy K. in Riceville, IA was fed up with the water seeping into her basement. It was making the space damp and musty, and she was concerned about the health implications. She contacted us for a FREE estimate after seeing one of our commercials on TV. We sent our Design Specialist, Rick Weber, to meet with Nancy, evaluate the situation, and propose a customized solution for her home. She approved of the plan and moved forward with the installation.

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production crew got to work and began the waterproofing project by first removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement to make a trench for our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump, spray foam insulation in the rim joists, and Foamax insulated panels on the walls. They completed the project with the installation of our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to take care of any humidity. Wet Basement Fix in Riceville, IA

Dean F. of Riceville, IA had water in his basement and he wanted to get it looked at before it got any worse. He called American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate with our Design Specialist, Josh. Josh went to Dean's home, took a look at the water problems, and offered some options for Dean that would fit his needs and budget. He was confident in Josh's presentation and proposal, so he went ahead with the repairs and scheduled a date for the installation.

Our Foreman, Aaron, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor perimeter, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which prevents water clogs, collects water seepage from basement walls, and works hand in hand with the sump pump in order to pump water out of the basement quickly and efficiently. To complete the project, our team filled each floor gap with pea gravel and applied new concrete over it. The project went great and Dean was happy with the work!

A homeowner in Plymouth, MN had been enjoying in his basement space and the fireplace when he noticed a small puddle of water that had formed. He didn't hesitate to make a call to the place he knew would help him out in this situation: American Waterworks. Our website informed him of our FREE no-obligation estimate appointments, which he signed up for. We sent over Design Specialist Michel Ramirez to inspect the home and speak more with the homeowner. Michel discovered the water leaking would only continue and cause more damage unless a waterproofing system was installed. He explained that by installing our WaterGuard system, it would intercept the water at the perimeter of the basement and safely send it away outside of the home. The homeowner wanted the issue to be solved and agreed to the proposal. When the plans were approved, they were given to our Foreman, Jeromy Anderson, and his crew to begin preparations. They arrived at the site and carefully installed the WaterGuard drain system and covered it in concrete to keep out dirt and debris. Now this homeowner has their leak-free fireplace back and can enjoy the comfort of their basement again.
