American Waterworks Before & After Photos

Roger D. in Adams, MN had a driveway that sunk 2-3 below the concrete garage floor. He was frustrated with the trip hazard it created, and the large bump they experienced every time they drove in and out of their garage. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks on the television and saw that we offer concrete repair. He gave us a call to receive a free estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his concrete and provide him with a solution. Roger was pleased with the design we presented him with, so he scheduled a date for the concrete repair.

One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where they needed to be raised. Then, he injection our PolyLevel foam into the holes until the concrete was raised to be level with the garage floor. Once the concrete was level, he filled back the holes he drilled with concrete and filled the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. He also did this process with Roger’s sidewalk. Roger was very pleased with the final outcome and he will now be able to enjoy beautiful, level concrete.

Dorothy, from Adams, MN was worried about the moisture and humidity in her home and wanted a more functional, dry basement space. She wasn't sure of the best approach to take to make this happen, so she called our team! We set her up with our FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, we headed out to her property to complete our inspection. Once our Design Specialist finished the walkthrough, he showed Dorothy why she needed a better way to filter the moisture and keep it outside her walls. Dorothy was confident in the proposal and got all of her questions answered, so she signed the contract and set up a date for the installation. 

 Our Crew, lead by our Foreman, Juan, installed our  WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard collects water leakage from basement walls, serves as an underground drain, and prevents water and mud clogs by staying out of the mud zone. Our crew then installed our CleanSpace Wall System, which prevents mold and humidity, acts as an extra wall protectant, and covers uneven surfaces. Lastly, Juan and his crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which provides two pumps and a battery back-up, comes with three layers of water protection, and will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. To round out the installation, our team filled the old sump pump space with rock, applied new concrete, and ensured the space was left clean, dry, and ready for Dorothy! Dorothy was very pleased with the work and was happy to know she no longer had to worry about basement waterproofing problems. 

Joe, a homeowner in Nevis, MN, realized that his crawl spaces needed attention. Inadequate or incorrect crawl space insulation can cause a number of comfort and energy problems. Specifically, with musty smells, mold, and moisture issues, Joe decided he needed to call American Waterworks for a FREE Estimate. Our Design Specialist, Kole, headed to the property to inspect each of the three crawl spaces.

Following the inspection, Kole made his recommendations and answered all questions, and Joe made an appointment to implement the solutions.

 Our Foreman, Arturo, and his crew began the project by clearing debris and readying the spaces for installation. They then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to address water Issues. CleanSpace is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier installed right onto the problem walls and works to catch water entering the space through cracks and holes in the wall. This also reduces the home's chances of being exposed to radon. The crew also used spray foam to seal and waterproof the homeowner's crawl space. Our spray foam is designed to keep the heat inside and prevent cool air from coming in. Joe was grateful for the support and guidance of American Waterworks in protecting his home!

Jessica S. of Goodridge, MN had water leaking into her basement, making her worry about the safety and health of her home. She heard about American Waterworks and called our front office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Ian Schultz. Ian went to her home her, inspected her problems, and came up with a solution that fit her needs and budget. Jessica was comfortable with Ian's proposal and presentation, so she went ahead with the project and scheduled an installation date. 

To begin the project, our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team broke out the concrete floor perimeter with a jackhammer, forming a trench. In the trench, our team installed our WaterGuard System, which is made to prevent water clogs, collect water seepage from basement walls, and act as an underground drainage system that leads to the sump pump. Next, our crew installed our CleanSpace Wall System Vapor Barrier around the wall perimeter, which is made to prevent mold and humidity build-up, and give the basement a neat and clean appearance. To complete the project, Corey and his team covered the open floor gaps with river rock and applied new concrete over it. Jessica was happy with the repairs and loved the transformation! 

Aaron S. of Goodridge, MN had sagging floors falling into his basement, causing him to be nervous about the structural stability of his home. He got in contact with American Waterworks and scheduled a FREE estimate. Our Design Specialist, Richie, went to Aaron's house, inspected his sagging floors, and determined a solution that would fit Aaron's needs. Aaron was confident in the proposal of our SmartJacks, so he signed Aaron's proposal and went ahead with the installation. 

Our Foreman, Ryan, and his production crew installed eight of our SmartJacks to lift and level the sagging floor joists. Over time, this system can be tightened by the homeowner to ensure it is sticking to its design. The installation took two days and Aaron had a wonderful experience with our team!
