A homeowner in Oelwein, IA, knew it was time to repair their water-damaged basement. Hoping to find a local expert, the homeowner began looking into "basement waterproofing near me". At the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to go ahead and sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Brady. Brady promptly arrived at the appointment and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Brady noted that several areas were suffering from water intrusion. To prevent this issue from worsening, Brady recommended a proposal that would solve this issue. The homeowner agreed and worked with Brady to schedule the project. Our Foreman, Juan, and his crew were assigned to complete the project. First, Juan and his crew started by installing WaterGuard around the basement perimeter and installing the TripleSafe. Next, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished walls. Finally, the crew installed SmartJacks along the existing supplemental beam. After all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners with peace of mind.
A homeowner in Crosby, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about mold build-up, water moisture, and a flooded basement. They did research on our website and came across our basement waterproofing products. The homeowner called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home to examine the water issues and come up with a solution that fits their needs. The homeowner was confident in Chad's TripleSafe Sump Pump System proposal and design, so they scheduled an installation date and signed the contract.
Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor in the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, comes with a battery back-up, and solves all three water problems in one system. Our crew connected the discharge line, ran it through the ceiling, and out of the home. To complete the project, our crew applied new concrete around the sump pump and left the basement cleaner than when they found it. The homeowner had a remarkable experience from start to finish!
Tom from Crosby, ND had begun to notice a large amount of water finding its way into the basement of his lakeside home. He was tired of constant water intrusion and was afraid that, if left untreated, he would run the risk of doing more costly damage to the space. He did some research and found our company and gave us a call. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to see what could be done to fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended that Tom have our WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe Sump Pump installed to correct the issue. He explained to Tom that the WaterGuard is installed below the floor to catch any water entering the space, and then deposits it to the TripleSafe, keeping the space dry because of the capacity the TripleSump is able to withstand. Tom agreed with Kole's recommendations and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Kevin, ended up installing 128 ft of our WaterGuard, and 1 of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Once the job was completed, Tom was happy to know his basement water issues were in the past.
Angie, a homeowner in Rochester MN, called us after having trouble with another local concrete leveling contractor. They collected her money and never showed up to do the work. American Waterworks was more than happy to step in and level off their sunken stoop.
A homeowner in Rochester, MN contaced us with concerns about two slabs between the driveway and the front door that were causing a trip hazard as guests were entering their home.
