Sam in Arkansaw, WI had three cracked and bowing walls in his basement. He was concerned about the pressure this was putting on his foundation, and he wanted to have his walls repaired before the problem got any worse. After visiting a local home show and talking with one of our Design Specialists, he decided to have us inspect his foundation and provide him with a FREE estimate. Our Specialist recommended that we install wall anchors on two of the walls and PowerBraces on the other. Sam agreed that this was the best solution for him, so he scheduled the installation.
Our production crew installed the wall anchors by drilling small holes through the block foundation into the soil surrounding the home. Then, they dug small holes in the yard that lined up with the anchor rods, and they secured them from the outside and inside of the home with anchor plates. They tightened them as far as they would go to permanently stabilize the wall. Next, they installed the PowerBraces, which are strong steel I-beams that are secured by brackets that are drilled into the floor and the rim joists. These two foundation repair products not only permanently stabilized Sam’s foundation, but they also provide the potential for his walls to straighten back to their original position.

Kristine I. of Arkansaw, WI had severe water problems in her basement, making her worry and want to get it under control. She got in touch with our office staff and got a FREE estimate scheduled with our Design Specialist, Chuck Haldeman. Chuck went to Kristine's house, inspected her water problems, and determined a solution. Kristine was confident in his solution, so she signed the contract.
Our Foreman, Raul Barroso, and his production team began the installation by installing our Foamax Wall Panels around the entire basement wall perimeter. Our Foamax provides comfort to the home and saves money on energy bills while making the walls look clean and bright. It also reduces condensation due to moisture protection. Next, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, followed by the discharge line. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, solves all three water problems in one unit, and comes with a battery back-up. Our battery back-up keeps the system running in case of a power outage or failure. The purpose of the discharge line is to allow water to escape the home without invading the foundation wall. Kristine was happy with the work that was done and had a great experience from start to finish!

The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the appointment was made, they sent one of our Design Specialists, Pete, to the home. Pete arrived and he began his detailed inspection. Following his inspection, Pete recommended that a small section of the basement be fully waterproofed. The homeowner agreed with Pete's recommendations and the plans were sent back to the office for approval. Once they were approved, they were sent to our Foreman, Francisco, and his crew. When they arrived, Francisco and his crew started by installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the small room. After the CleanSpace was secured, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their water intrusion risk was eliminated.
