Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Wet Basement Waterproofed in New Prague, MN

Challenge

Carrie B. in New Prague, MN had water leaking into her basement and it was damaging her property and causing a musty smell throughout her home. She had been experiencing this each time there was a heavy rain, so she decided to contact American Waterworks to have a professional design a solution.

Solution

We were able to successfully waterproof her basement by installing our WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the basement floor, a SuperSump sump and BrightWall to prevent moisture from entering her basement. The water leaking into her basement is now guided through the WaterGuard and drained into the sump pump basket. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and expelled from the home. Carrie's basement is now a dry, healthier space.
