Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Wet Basement Restored in Truman, MN

Challenge

Connie K. in Truman, MN had a significant amount of water leaking into her basement, creating a damp, unhealthy space. Her sump pump was old and unable to keep up with the amount of water that was seeping into her basement. She knew the problem was only going to get worse and knew she needed a permanent solution to her wet basement, so she called American Waterworks to receive a free estimate.

Solution

Our production crew started installing our waterproofing system by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and laying 108 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system. Next, they installed our recommended TripleSafe sump pump and our Foamax insulation panels along the walls. The combination of these waterproofing products ensure that water will be properly discharged from her basement and that it will remain a dry and functional space.
