Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Wet Basement Restored in Westbrook, MN

Challenge

Alex J. in Westbrook, MN already had a sump pump in his home, but continued to have water leaking into his basement in several areas. He contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate, and our Design Specialist, Shane Nephew, presented him with our products and a unique solution to fit his needs. He approved of the plan and scheduled the installation.

Solution

Our Foreman, Juan Pena, and his crew started the project by removing the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor. Then, they installed 152 feet of our WaterGuard drainage system and feed line. Water now drains through the WaterGuard into the sump pump. From there, the water is pumped through the discharge line and is expelled from the home.
