Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Wet Basement Restored in Cleveland, MN

Challenge

Kathy S. in Cleveland, MN was suffering from a wet basement. Water was seeping through the foundation each time there was a heavy rainfall. She did her research and contacted American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Ryan Powell, went onsite to inspect the basement and to develop a personalized waterproofing solution. Kathy was impressed with the plan, and she was eager to get her basement back, so she scheduled the installation.

Solution

Our Foreman, Dylon VanCanneyt, and his production crew removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement floor, laid the WaterGuard drainage system, installed the TripleSafe sump pump, and then filled back the gaps with rock. The discharge line was installed in the yard and they replaced the concrete in the basement. The process took two days, but now Kathy’s peace of mind is restored!
