Water in Basement Gets Waterproofed in Osage, IA

A homeowner in Osage, IA, was facing water seepage in her basement. Solution

In about a week, our Design Specialist, Eric H., arrived at the home to conduct a thorough inspection, answer any questions, and provide the best solution for the homeowner. During the inspection, Eric noticed that water was seeping through the joint between the wall and footing. Eric explained to the homeowner that this could be caused by a failed footing drain. When this fails, water easily saturates the soil surrounding the foundation and forces itself into the basement. To fix this issue, Eric recommended WaterGuard, our below-the-floor perimeter drain system that safely sends water to the sump pump, SuperSump+, our powerful sump pump system that is capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the discharge pipes freeze. After reviewing Eric's proposal, the homeowner happily agreed and scheduled the installation date.
