A homeowner in Hutchinson, MN, noticed that water had begun seeping through the joints between the wall and footing in his basement. Solution

In less than a week, our Design Specialist, Dylan W., arrived at the home to provide a thorough inspection. During the inspection, Dylan explained to the homeowner that one of the most common causes of a leaking basement is a failed footing drain. When this fails, water saturates the soil surrounding the foundation. This then causes water to push itself through cracks on the walls, between the footing and the wall, or beneath the footing. For this reason, Dylan recommended WaterGuard, our industry-leading drainage system that collects water at the perimeter of the basement and safely sends it to the sump pump, SuperSump, our elite sump pump system capable of removing 2,200 gallons of water per hour, and IceGuard, our anti-freeze discharge line that allows water to escape in case the sump pump pipes freeze.
